03:06I will be completely honest, when I saw like some fan art of you as Nightwing, I was like blown
03:13away.
03:13Whoa.
03:14Like I, I mean, you never know if that's going to come to fruition or not,
03:18but when I see like someone did you in the comic book style, I was like, I see it right
03:23away.
03:24Wow.
03:25Yeah, I would love to play him.
03:26I love DC.
03:29I love, I loved all like comic books that were true to the source material.
03:38And I think, you know, there are a lot of good filmmakers who like bring their own style to these,
03:43you know, beloved comics that I think it would be really great to work with them.
03:49You know, I'm not fully set on Nightwing, you know, I'm open to other things.
03:54Did you always want to be in like, did, is superheroes, is that always something that's been like, I need
04:01to do that?
04:01Absolutely not.
04:02It's just, it's when really good filmmaker, it's, it's filmmaker driven.
04:06So when like a guy like James Gunn or Matt Reeves, you know, comes to comics, it, I think that's
04:12what draws me.
04:15And, and I heard James Gunn is doing the, the Teen Titans.
04:18I know there's, yeah, but yeah.
04:21James Gunn, he's in love with you.
04:23True or false.
04:25Hudson is more like Ilya in real life and Connor is more like Shane.
04:28I think me and you are both like Rose.
04:32And I'm like Svetlana.
04:33I just said me and you are both like Rose.
04:36But I'm just, I'm just parting ways.
04:38That's so Svetlana for you to say.
04:41I don't know.
04:42I mean, maybe I do feel like Ilya.
04:45I don't know.
04:46I think that I, I'm, I'm too sensitive or outwardly sensitive or don't have a lot of shame around emotion
04:53to be Ilya.
04:54I could be a little cocky like Ilya.
04:56Yeah.
04:57But beyond that, it's like, I think Shane and Ilya sort of share us, you know, a soulfulness that's kind
05:04of buried under all these, you know, walls and kind of masks.
05:08But I think, I think underneath that, what we both relate with both of them is, you know, the heart
05:15and their soul.
05:17After wrapping Heated Rivalry, you two got matching tattoos that say sex sales.
05:22And if true, how did that happen?
05:24Um, I, did I have a reason for coming up to Vancouver?
05:28I just wanted to come see you.
05:29Yeah, come hang out.
05:29Am I not good enough?
05:31Come on.
05:31Yeah, I just, I don't know why for a second I was like, I have something to do up there.
05:35I have nothing to do in Vancouver.
05:37I was there.
05:38So, yeah, I just went up to see, um, I just came up to see you.
05:43We knew we wanted to get matching tattoos.
05:44I hadn't gotten a tattoo in forever.
05:46Um, and we were just shuffling through ideas and, yeah, we did it.
05:51I think you came up with sex sales, but like, we were both pitching ideas.
05:54For like days.
05:55One person would like them, the other person wouldn't.
05:57And then when you said sex sales, I was like, oh.
05:59We were sold.
06:00That's the first idea you've had.
06:01That's good.
06:01I think it's honestly my most well-done tattoo as well.
06:04I know.
06:04So, that feels good.
06:06The front of my shin.
06:07Pull in here.
06:08Zoom in.
06:09Okay.
06:10True or false.
06:12You ate a pound of beef, of ground beef a day while filming.
06:15Heated Rivalry.
06:17True.
06:18Um, Connor told me what his routine was.
06:20And after I saw him in person, um, I asked him how he got to that size.
06:25I thought he was taking illicit substances.
06:27He wasn't.
06:28He does it super clean.
06:29Sorry I mentioned illicit substances.
06:32Um, but he.
06:33I have nothing to hide.
06:34Bring it on.
06:35But he was so.
06:37And just like.
06:39So, I was like, what are you eating, freak?
06:43And I was like, I'm eating.
06:46And he just couldn't speak.
06:47And he just kept doing that.
06:48And I was like, I think that means ground beef.
06:50Um, you're like that level of capability is what I need.
06:54And then Connor was actually the person who put me onto fiber.
06:56Because if you need to eat the protein, you want to get, you know, iliac cheeks, um, and chests.
07:03You need so much fiber just so your stomach doesn't shut down.
07:08And you go into cardiac arrest and you get carried out from your, your little workout on a stretcher.
07:13With some, you know, pumped up pecs and a shut down fucking.
07:16You look, you look good.
07:18Digestive system.
07:18It's really unfortunate if it ends that way.
07:20Yeah.
07:21Yeah, I actually, um, I'm going to one up this true or false.
07:24I actually think that we ate more than a pound of beef.
07:27Cause a pound of beef only has, I think, 84 grams of protein and you need a solid 200 for
07:33our size and shape.
07:35So sometimes I can eat two pounds of ground beef a day.
07:38Plus like 10 eggs.
07:40Yeah.
07:40And so many salads.
07:41I was having so much salad.
07:42Cause by the end I got like gained 10 pounds.
07:45So like when I started shooting, I was like, and by the end I was like 10 pounds heavier.
07:49And it was because of ground beef.
07:50Yeah.
07:51You, I mean, you're very inspiring.
07:52I'm glad that we had each other because it would have been really hard to be motivated
07:56if, you know, we were going back to our-
07:5912 hour days and then the gym.
08:00And then like going back to a residence, like alone.
08:02It's really, it's nice that I got to be like,
08:05Hi son, let's go to gym.
08:07And we would go from a fucking 11 hour day skating lesson and Connor would go,
08:12let's do legs.
08:13And I, and I looked him, he's a madman.
08:15That's how he has a butt.
08:16He'll finish a skating lesson that takes four hours and then go legs now.
08:21And I was like, what are you saying?
08:23I, okay.
08:24I knew I had a responsibility to the people.
08:28He's America's ass.
08:30And I, I take that very seriously.
08:33Romance readers are famously passionate about book adaptations.
08:37Did you feel any pressure bringing a beloved story to life?
08:40And how did you approach making the characters your own?
08:42It's good.
08:42I think to go into a project accepting that, you know, people might be disappointed,
08:49especially with something like a book where everyone already has preconceived notions.
08:52they've envisioned, they've envisioned these characters, they've drawn these characters,
08:56they've gotten tattoos of these characters.
08:58Like the love is already there so much that ultimately someone is going to be disappointed.
09:03All you can do is, is read the material as much as you possibly can.
09:11And, and respect it, show the respect, show the dedication, and just hope that people, you know, connect with it
09:18and love it and see that enthusiasm.
09:20I think we both had that level of, whether you want to call it nihilism or not, like, people might
09:25just hate this.
09:26People might hate your casting or they might hate my casting.
09:28I'm not going to expect anything more.
09:31And I'm just going to do the best I can.
09:33But you have really no metric of if people are going to be warm to your, your take.
09:39I really think at the end of the day, all you can do is be really intentional, give it a
09:44hundred and fifty percent.
09:46Yeah.
09:46Just go for it, you know.
09:47Yeah.
09:48And luckily for us, this worked out really freaking well.
09:53Woo!
09:53Yee!
09:55Hudson, we have heard rumors about a very serious multi-step Korean skincare routine.
10:00Can you break it down for us?
10:01It's not that lengthy.
10:02Yeah, I always made fun of you for it, too, because I, like, honestly, I'm just kind of jealous because
10:07you have really good skin.
10:09But I'm always like, yeah, your skin routine.
10:11And then it's actually not that long.
10:13It's not that long.
10:14It's okay.
10:15I'm going to tell you.
10:16In the morning, I use water to cleanse my face.
10:20Warm water.
10:20And then I put on a glow toner, but it's pretty dry.
10:25It's not like, I don't like when people have, like, dewy skin.
10:27Like, if I see someone that looks like they just wore a face mask, I'm like, why are you out
10:30right now?
10:31Like, go wipe that off and then come talk to me because I won't right now.
10:35And then, so my toner.
10:36And then I'll put on a serum and then sunscreen.
10:41And then sometimes instead of a serum, I put on a moisturizer.
10:45And then my PM routine is an oil cleanser, you know, to get out these blackheads, to get the gunk
10:51out.
10:52And then I'll either use, like, a CeraVe normal-ass cleanser or I'll use, like, a poor shrinking cleanser.
10:59That's their new slogan.
11:02CeraVe normal-ass cleanser.
11:05I think that is.
11:06Yeah, I also like CeraVe.
11:08And then, like, a poor shrinking or a poor shrinking cleanser, if that's my goal.
11:11And then the same thing.
11:12Toner, serum, and then either a retinol or a salicylic acid.
11:16And then I go to fucking sleep.
11:19So, I think everyone in the studio agrees that was a lot.
11:23Well, I will also say, I mean, it makes sense.
11:26You have flawless skin, so.
11:28And then when I take it off, it just falls apart.
11:30Yeah, he unhooks the clip back here.
11:35He unhooks the clip in the back.
11:35Keeps it all up.
11:36Connor.
11:37Yes.
11:38Story.
11:39Yes.
11:39Do you have a favorite spicy scene from Heated Rivalry and a favorite from Ember and Ice?
11:43What makes those stand out for you?
11:44My favorite spicy scene from Ember and Ice is actually a scene where Dane is with two former lovers, Cassandra
11:53and Elijah.
11:54Yep.
11:56You're awesome.
11:58I need you to be here with me.
12:01Okay.
12:02Dane has an interaction with two of his former lovers after having been with Finn for some time.
12:12And, yeah, not to spoil, but he ends up realizing that what really works for him isn't working for him
12:19anymore.
12:20And it's kind of this moment of identity loss and, you know, what pleases me isn't pleasing me the same.
12:27I think that's really cool.
12:28Because it's also, it's, because it's cool because it's like sexy and spicy, but it also is really revealing of
12:33the character and the connection and where he's at, you know.
12:37And I think it's funny.
12:38I think I remember Dane saying something about, he's like, he's like, and then the next thing I did was
12:44I just had to come up with an excuse.
12:46And then he's like, he's like, my friends, I have bad news.
12:50I have a lot from Ember and Ice, but one is the lake scene where we kind of go in
12:56together and you kind of coax it out of me without spoiling too much.
13:00I think that one's just, you know, a lot of times like the intimacy before intimacy, I think it has
13:05more of a charge in a way.
13:07That one really got me frothing at the mouth.
13:11And Heated Rivalry, favorite intimate scene.
13:15There was one that was really fun to film.
13:17Do you remember filming the stair step scene?
13:19When we're like kissing against the glass and our lips never come apart.
13:23Me and you were like, do people do this?
13:25Do people?
13:26I know, it's always a fun balance, right?
13:28Of like, when you're filming, separate from like the audio space, when you're filming, it's like, how much of it
13:35is fun TV?
13:38And then how much of it is like, is like true sex?
13:41Because at the end of the day, you know, you do have in real life, people do have those, those
13:45like movie moments where you're like, you know, you're like, yeah, yeah.
13:49And then everyone on set was like, oh, yeah, no, we, I've done that.
13:52And then Connor and I were like, oh, we usually fold our clothes, place them down, then go upstairs naked
13:58and go, sex now?
14:01Sex now?
14:02I'm robot.
14:03Plug me in.
14:05True or false, Hudson's roommates once kept a mooning tally of how many times he flashed them.
14:11Do you know?
14:13How many times?
14:14I know that you, I've, yeah, I remember this.
14:16Yep.
14:16It's true.
14:17It was one roommate.
14:18Um, and I, I mooned him 31 times.
14:23What was his reaction when you mooned him?
14:25Was he like, Hudson?
14:28Her poor name was Chelsea.
14:30I, I, I've talked with her and Chelsea has been like, you can say my name.
14:33And I was like, so I've since talked about this since.
14:36Double consent.
14:37Double consent.
14:38Um, and, uh, poor Chelsea would just go, I think her main reaction was like, oh, Hudson.
14:44Oh, and it made me so happy.
14:50Where, where is Chelsea now?
14:52And I, I developed different techniques over the years.
14:54Um, she's chilling.
14:57She's got a cat that's like hanging off her walls.
14:59Um, but I would go and I would do like a drive-by.
15:01I had all these different techniques.
15:03And then she would bring like other, you know, um, romantic interests home.
15:07And then they're like, what's this tally up on the board?
15:10And they're like, oh, that's how many times Hudson, my roommate, has mooned me.
15:14And they were like, would you just like kind of butt crack it or would you full cheese?
15:18So I had one where I would get pants low, like I would de-pants and she would be unassuming,
15:24like maybe on her phone, on the couch.
15:26And I would run by and jump in the air.
15:28So I was like a, like, like a, like a literal moon, a literal moon, but in fast motion.
15:34Sometimes I would just do the like, oh, drop something before we leave.
15:38Bend and I'm right there.
15:39Gotcha.
15:40Oh God.
15:43Yes, no, they, they got very athletic.
15:45But we need to clarify, if you were going to moon someone, make it a close friend.
15:49Chelsea is still my close friend.
15:51Make it known that this is okay.
15:53Yep.
15:54She got a hoot out of it.
15:55Do not moon people you don't know in places it's not okay.
16:00Hudson, as an Asian actor leading such a hugely popular queer romance,
16:04what kind of stories or roles are you excited for more people to see you in going forward?
16:08Hmm.
16:10Yeah, I, I want to, I want to represent my, my Wajians out there.
16:15You know, um, I've been declared, do you know about this?
16:20Mm-mm.
16:21I've been declared the, I think princess or prince of Wajia.
16:25Me.
16:26I mean, I, I sign off on it.
16:28Okay.
16:28I think you, he's the final stamp off guy for this.
16:32So, uh, yeah, I'm the, I'm the ambassador of Wajia as a fully, as a completely Caucasian.
16:38Yes.
16:39But, uh, as, as, uh, this, um, little Wajian I am, I hope to just do roles that aren't always
16:48charged with,
16:50you know, I'm happy to do roles that are, you know, race has something to, to play in there.
16:55But also, I just want to be an actor, and a lot of the times I just want to play
16:58parts where it's like, I'm, I'm just there.
17:01And we don't need to go on my backstory or whatever, it's just, you know, I'm playing what any other,
17:06uh, non-person of color would play as well, you know?
17:12You're a person, you want to be treated as well.
17:13I'm a person.
17:14Love it, baby.
17:16On both Heated Rivalry and Ember and Ice, you worked with an intimacy coordinator.
17:20Um, why do you think that role matters on projects like this?
17:23Was there anything about the process that you think would surprise people?
17:27Wow.
17:27I mean, I think it's so, um, yeah, that's a, yeah,
17:31Yeah, that question is, I mean, it's so important.
17:34I mean, you, you literally can't do things without that role.
17:40Um, the thing that I think would shock people about the role of intimacy coordinating is it's not just about,
17:47and this is what I learned from Chayla originally, and then also Jamie doing this.
17:51It's not just about the actual safety, the boundaries, monitoring what's going on, what that looks like, making sure everyone's
17:59okay.
17:59There's also actually a conjunction of an artistic edge, where you are, like Jamie with this, you know, was also
18:08the voice that was reminding us,
18:10this is how long it's been since this happened, you know, you need to, I need to hear that shiver,
18:15or that I need to hear those, um, I need to hear that feeling through your wings.
18:21I need to see that come about, I need to feel that pleasure in this way.
18:25So it's not always technical, even though that's what I feel like is brought up a lot.
18:29There is also an artistic sensibility to that job, and that really promotes that conversation.
18:34Absolutely.
18:35Bring in the first ginger ale.
18:38This is so fun.
18:40We have Canada Dry, we have Schweppes, we have, can you, can someone give me a rundown of the brands?
18:46Nope, you're going to try it, and we're going to go.
18:47Yes.
18:48I don't, I've only named two from memory.
18:50Well, how about this, I'll hold it so we don't, we don't give away anything.
18:53Yeah, we don't have flavors, so you describe the flavor and the texture for it.
18:59Yep, that's my Hudson.
19:00That's my Hudson.
19:03That's not Canada Dry, this is some shitty American ginger ale.
19:06This is like Schweppes, or like, um, yeah, that's my guess.
19:13You said it's not Canada Dry, why is it not Canada Dry?
19:16Yeah.
19:16Canada Dry's got more ginger in it, and more bubble in it.
19:20It's just subtle ginger, yeah.
19:22Go ahead and, should we deep blindfold for it?
19:24Go ahead and take a little deep.
19:27You got, we got you.
19:31Where is this imported from?
19:33This, this is, this is, no, no way.
19:37It says, it says from Frisco, Texas.
19:40Nope.
19:40Frisco, Texas, baby.
19:41I don't, I don't, this is, it changed, it changed.
19:45Bring in ginger ale number two.
19:47That is so embarrassing.
19:50Thank you so much.
19:52This one was, that one was Canada Dry.
19:55What is this one?
19:57I'm going, um, um, um, um, um, um, um.
20:01You're my baby.
20:03Drink more.
20:04Okay.
20:05This is cough syrup.
20:07This is, this is yellow snow.
20:11What is this?
20:13A pissy pineapple.
20:15But that's the brand, Hudson.
20:17I have to guess the brand?
20:20Davai, yeah.
20:21This is Schweppes.
20:23Okay.
20:23This one is Schweppes.
20:25Schweppes.
20:25It's also Canada Dry.
20:30I am so happy that I'm not the one tasting these, because if I was getting them wrong, I'd feel
20:35like an idiot.
20:36No, I'm kidding.
20:37I'm kidding.
20:40It's stupid.
20:41No, you're not.
20:42I mean, they, they really set you up.
20:44Give me another one.
20:46Do you have more?
20:46Bring me, bring in, how many more?
20:49Bring in the last one.
20:53Oh, this one's a hard one.
20:56Thank you.
20:59Oh, no.
21:04Uh-huh.
21:06That's them.
21:09That's, um, that's Fevertree Ginger, um, um, beer.
21:16Hudson?
21:18What?
21:19What?
21:20What, there's a, there's a secondary flavor.
21:25Hmm.
21:26Do you want a smell test, too?
21:28You want to do, like, a...
21:28No, it's just ginger.
21:30No, but do, like, an aromatics test.
21:34Go, full Somme vibes.
21:37Do you smell that?
21:39Oh, it's hard to, it's hard to smell.
21:41It's fucking ginger.
21:42Pear?
21:43Fucking, it's ginger.
21:44Yeah, I'm going to be honest.
21:46He would never be able to understand.
21:47You can't taste that flavor at all.
21:49Let's see.
21:50Woo!
21:51What?
21:52Blood orange?
21:53Good job.
21:53You can't taste that at all.
21:54You put food coloring in.
21:56You didn't put no blood orange in there.
21:58I will say, I kind of like this one, though.
22:00That one's nice.
22:01I like all of them.
22:02But I guess the brand, did I not?
22:04You killed it.
22:05When did you first realize you clicked?
22:07And what are some of your favorite memories from working together?
22:11Hmm.
22:12I would say our first FaceTime outside of a chemistry read, because at that point I was always Shane.
22:17He was always Ilya.
22:18But then when we first met over FaceTime before we went to Toronto, we had so much overlap of movies
22:28we liked, actors we liked, art we liked, and similar approaches to how we liked to perform that I immediately
22:37knew.
22:37I think we clicked there.
22:38And I think that's saying a lot, because I think some of our interests can be pretty niche.
22:43The fact that there is overlap is amazing.
22:45Yeah.
22:46And favorite memories, I would say all our laughs on set.
22:51Being in Muskoka was really beautiful.
22:54There was a lot of lounging around.
22:58You know, it was just great.
23:00My favorite memories of working with you are also the laughs.
23:03What's like an inside joke that we just died over the whole time?
23:09We had a storm the set.
23:11That was also with me.
23:11Oh, yeah.
23:12I would always be like, Storm the set!
23:15But if we couldn't afford extras, our idea was we would just do a cattle call.
23:20We used to joke that we, because we would have airport scenes and stuff, where there would be like, you
23:26know, for an airport.
23:26You need, like, you need a bunch of people, and we'd have, like, five people.
23:30And I just imagined, I imagined Jacob being like, being like, Costo, get up there!
23:36And everyone's, like, taking off their mics, and he's like, Storm the set!
23:41Opening the garage and just, like, opening it up to the public.
23:44How does it feel to accidentally launch a workout movement?
23:49I can't, I honestly still cannot believe that that was someone's takeaway from this, you know?
23:55I, like, I think I look a little too shabby.
23:58I'm, I'm in the process of gaining weight right now.
24:00You know, yeah, I was, when you look, you look freaking fantastic.
24:04Well, bring it back to my Spanish.
24:05Muchas gracias.
24:06De nada, corazón de melón.
24:08Ah, mi hermoso.
24:10No, esposo, mi amor.
24:11Todo mi corazón.
24:14Yeah, I, people, people like our bodies.
24:17Let's just be honest about it.
24:19People, you know, I care about my health.
24:21I care about my fitness, as do you.
24:25Honestly, watching the show is making us work out even more.
24:28Yeah.
24:29So what drew you to doing a Faye Romantisi story,
24:32and what was it about the script that hooked you?
24:34For me, it was exploring sensuality with, with your voice.
24:38You know, that's the only tool you have, and it kind of scared me a little bit.
24:43And, you know, there, there, it was a really fun way to explore yourself.
24:48It was fun.
24:48It was actually fun.
24:49And, you know, it's very demanding, and it's, it's well written.
24:52I think in the booth, the term winged Hemingway came up, you know?
25:01Fantastical Hemingway.
25:02Because there was, like, war, there's, like, this romance that's forbidden,
25:06and it seems doomed in a lot of ways.
25:10And that was way heavier than I thought, you know, this would look like.
25:15And it was really rewarding.
25:18The story just moves really well, too.
25:20It was just written really well.
25:23As someone who, you know, is not a big reader,
25:27I think something like this would be really appealing to me.
25:30Just the way it, it cycles through the feelings,
25:33it cycles through the years.
25:35Different point of views.
25:36Yeah, I think, I just think it's really, like, almost physically well done.
25:39Why do you think MM romance resonates so strongly with women right now?
25:44Hmm.
25:46Yeah, we've, we've, we've both talked about this and kind of been intrigued by it.
25:50There's so many reasons.
25:51There's so many reasons.
25:52And then even just women, you know, there are straight women,
25:56there are trans women, there are gay women, like, queer women.
26:00It's, it's, well, that feels like a giant term to be like,
26:04I know exactly why.
26:07You know, there's, like, the element of you can live vicariously
26:09and you can feel safe.
26:11Like, with women, this is just one opinion that I had never even considered
26:16or thought of that I saw that I think you're alluding to,
26:19which is, if you are female and you are,
26:25you are taken out of the equation,
26:28there's, and you're, there's a spectatorship to that.
26:32There's, like, a, there's a certain amount of separation
26:34that allows for safety, you know, like,
26:37especially women historically being put into a box in a certain way,
26:41especially when it comes to sex and pleasure.
26:43It feels like a nice separation to see sexuality and romance be lived out
26:49without the female dynamic being involved.
26:52Yeah, I heard, I heard someone online say, a woman say that, like,
26:56when you see, like, a hetero couple, you know,
27:00you default to, like, relating with,
27:03or forced to sort of relate with a woman character.
27:05And then that comes with a lot of restriction, too,
27:07and, like, imagination.
27:09A lot of writers, you know, are writing very conventionally,
27:12which means a lot of outdated tropes, old archetypes.
27:16And I think, you know, with getting to watch two men,
27:20it's like, they can kind of relate with this person.
27:21In one moment, they're empathetic to this person.
27:23They're not forced into a box of, here,
27:25this is your person to relate with.
27:27At the end of the day, though, we're both men.
27:30I have no idea what it's like to be a woman.
27:33Yeah.
27:34And so, y'all let us know.
27:35Yeah.
27:36Y'all tell us.
27:37I think me, because I would just be,
27:41I'd be drinking.
27:42I'd be somewhere, I'd be, like, under a table.
27:45Yeah.
27:46Asleep, naked.
27:47But I will say, you're really freaking athletic,
27:51and you're really strong, and you know how to fight.
27:54So if it came down to, like, a wrestling match between you
27:57and Freddie Krueger, I think you're taking the cake, my boy.
28:02I'm winning.
28:03Woo!
28:04Okay.
28:05Snack time.
28:08Me, 100%.
28:10Yeah.
28:11You have a little, you have a tiny bit more reverence than I do.
28:14If something is overly serious, I cannot help but laugh.
28:19Because I just become really, like, oh, I become really aware of how...
28:22Do you do that kind of...
28:25It's not that pitch.
28:26You left, and now I'm going to leave.
28:29Bye.
28:29Connor will do the, like, the, like, it's, like, so serious,
28:33he kind of gets a little take, and then he goes,
28:34and I can't do his laugh.
28:36Do I do that?
28:36Do I do...
28:37And then he goes...
28:38Do I do a Pauly pocket hand?
28:42That's Connor.
28:43I accept myself.
28:44This is what...
28:44We're rocking this.
28:45We're rocking it.
28:46I accept myself.
28:48Me.
28:49Oh, yeah.
28:49I'm dirty.
28:51You're, like, you're pretty clean.
28:53I'd eat anything off the ground.
28:54No.
28:58Not me.
28:59You're online more than I am.
29:00Yeah.
29:00Well, I just love YouTube.
29:01I love the little, like, video essay on this movie.
29:06Essay on this little actor.
29:07Have you learned this about Genghis Khan?
29:10And I'm like, why?
29:10There's so much to know.
29:12Nerd.
29:13Are these book talk trivia things?
29:15H-E-A.
29:16Heaven eats ass.
29:18I don't know.
29:19Yeah, heaven eats ass.
29:20Is that it?
29:21Really?
29:21What is it?
29:23Happily Ever After.
29:24Fuck.
29:25Yeah, okay.
29:28Okay, this one's harder.
29:30The rake and the cake.
29:31The what?
29:32The rake and the cake.
29:34Well, you break up some people together,
29:37and then you ass.
29:39Yes.
29:39Yeah, are these all going to be ass-related?
29:42This one, I'm really...
29:44They are for me.
29:45The grumpy sunshine from, like, the rake and the cake.
29:48Oh, right, right.
29:49Oh, I see.
29:50Oh, I like that.
29:52I like those.
29:52I like those ones.
29:53Yeah, I like the grump.
29:55Why tubes?
29:56Why?
29:57Is this a love triangle thing?
29:59Mmm.
29:59Ooh.
30:00Threesome.
30:01It scares me a little.
30:02Foot in both jars of peanut butter, if you know what I mean.
30:05Don't make me nervous on Twitter.
30:07We're going to react to some tweets.
30:08You don't scare me.
30:09Connor's story.
30:10You need to stop.
30:11Your face too smiley.
30:12Your ass too fat.
30:14Juicy.
30:14Your line delivery too good.
30:16They'll kill you.
30:17You really...
30:17I mean, you end it...
30:18Line delivery too good?
30:19Yeah, you...
30:20I'm cool with that.
30:21I feel good.
30:23I...
30:24Whenever we read tweets,
30:25I don't know if I'm supposed to, like, thank you,
30:28or if I'm supposed to, like...
30:30Yeah.
30:30They'll genuinely be like, whoa!
30:32I guess all of it, kind of.
30:34Hudson Williams' back dimples.
30:37That's it.
30:38That's the tweet.
30:39Oh!
30:40I didn't realize I had these little back dimples,
30:43but then I saw the receipts,
30:45and I saw my dimpled cheek back thing, and...
30:50We were all seeing it.
30:51Yeah.
30:52I was...
30:52I was seeing it.
30:53Damn.
30:54For real.
30:55I love whatever is wrong with y'all.
30:59My Cynthia and Ariana.
31:04Fine.
31:05I'm invested in heated rivalry.
31:06Not because of their giant, bouncy...
31:09But because it's a true yearner.
31:12I'm a sucker for a good romance.
31:14The yearning is...
31:15is the thing.
31:16I think that's...
31:17That's probably the sexiest part for people, honestly.
31:19You want to know how we got these bodies...
31:20If you yearn enough...
31:21and your ass gets fat.
31:23Despite all the memes,
31:25I have enjoyed people seeing
31:26that physical intimacy isn't just spice
31:29on top of the romance,
31:30but a vehicle to explore relationship dynamics
31:32and character,
31:34and also physical and emotional intimacy
31:36are different but connected things.
31:38Jacob talks about this,
31:39and that was one of the first things
31:40I think he brought to us
31:44to try and explain his vision,
31:46which was, you know,
31:47when you read the scripts,
31:48when you read the pages,
31:49it can sound very sex-heavy,
31:51but to know that the sex
31:53really is just the foundation
31:55of their relationship
31:56and how they connect.
31:58Yeah, I think that is...
31:59I think that's kind of, you know...
32:01For the first years of their life,
32:04that's how they communicate.
32:05That's where their relationship builds.
32:06And, you know...
32:07That's not usually how sex is used
32:09in media.
32:10Yeah.
32:11Meteor.
32:13I need Hudson Williams to know
32:14that so many people imagine,
32:16draw, write, and read about him
32:17getting pregnant.
32:19Including me.
32:21Is that crazy?
32:22Oh, he knows.
32:23And even comments on it.
32:23Yeah, Mara.
32:24He did a rivalry update.
32:25He's pointing this out to me.
32:26I know.
32:27When I learned that about the fan fiction,
32:28I was like,
32:29whatever floats your boat,
32:31you know?
32:32Yeah, I mean,
32:33I think that's like...
32:34I think that's in the deep fanfic side.
32:36Yeah.
32:37I don't understand it,
32:39but I'm like,
32:40you know what, you freaks?
32:41You gung-ho,
32:42you go get it.
32:43You know,
32:44if you can go get fictional me pregnant...
32:46Fictional me.
32:48Knock him up.
32:50This is another one
32:51about my butt.
32:52Again.
32:53Y'all aren't ready for this one.
32:55Connor's story deserves A-O-T-Y.
32:57What's A-O-T-Y mean?
33:00Connor's story,
33:01ass of the...
33:01I don't like this tweet.
33:02It should be
33:03ass of the century.
33:05Hey, whoa, whoa.
33:06Whoa.
33:06Whoa.
33:07Whoa.
