00:00Congratulations on the astronomical success of Ransom Canyon.
00:03Everyone is so excited about season two.
00:07It's just jam packed with so much.
00:10Love the script and let's do it.
00:11After more than a year long wait, ET has your first look at Josh Duhamel and
00:16Mika Kelly in Ransom Canyon season two.
00:19Fans are saying this is giving Yellowstone meets Virgin River.
00:24You know, it's about these two warring families that have been doing it for
00:26generations and can't quite get it together.
00:30You know, there's going to be some romance.
00:31Nothing, I'm just thinking.
00:34About what?
00:36About forever.
00:39The modern day western follows all the drama between longtime friends Quinn and
00:43Staten as they fight to keep their beloved hometown in Texas alive.
00:49Eight new episodes hit Netflix on July 23rd and they pick up six months after the season one finale.
00:55She does finally, you know, eventually choose herself.
01:00Maybe it's time I move on.
01:01Move on to what?
01:03New York.
01:04New York?
01:05I got offered to play with the New York Phil for six months.
01:08Yeah, Mika's character Quinn is returning home after going no contact with Staten
01:13during her work trip to New York.
01:15Is that the plan?
01:16We have our little fling and then you just jet off to New York City.
01:19Staten, I'm tired.
01:23Let's just go to bed.
01:28And if the first season was about land, showrunner April Blair says season two is all about love.
01:34There's a complexity to this relationship that was really fun to like work out.
01:39Am I falling in love with potential here or am I in love with the person that is in front
01:44of me?
01:44That dude needs to like figure it out.
01:47All I ever wanted was you.
01:49And I think that all you want is your own pain.
01:52I also love that, you know, these are characters that are a little bit older and they've lived
01:57some life and they're still learning these lessons.
02:00And we have some new characters this season that I think people are really gonna love.
02:04Yeah, Oscar nominee Patricia Clarkson joins the series as Minka's mom.
02:08And High Potential star Steve Howey, who is also in Shameless, plays Josh's half-brother Levi.
02:14The season is really, really good.
02:16We're all like, I think I like the season even better.
02:18There's a lot more levity this season too, which I love.
02:22Like the levity to break the tension, which I find is such a nice relief sometimes.
02:26I'm having more fun now than I ever did.
