00:18We're pretty clear that we live in a city that is uniquely inclusive, even in the United States of America,
00:24and we wanted the world to see that.
00:34That contradiction might be new for so many of us. The challenge of that contradiction has been a struggle of
00:41my own personal life for 40 years.
00:46And I'm certainly not alone in that. I'm not the only Iranian-American that identifies as queer.
01:11Tomorrow's game does not have to be political. You know, let's show the world how welcoming we are and that
01:18everyone has a place here in Seattle.
01:21This is a safe space. This sport is for everybody. And we will keep jumping in that message.
