00:00It's shambolic. It's utterly shambolic.
00:02We're a laughingstock on the global stage, and both of them know it.
00:06Keir Starmer has been an unmitigated disaster for the last two years.
00:11Him and Rachel Reeves have become so unpopular around the country.
00:15I spent the last year going around the United Kingdom.
00:17I've seen 30,000 people, and it doesn't matter where I go.
00:21I can be in the north of England in working men's clubs.
00:23I can be here in the east of England. I can be in the Midlands.
00:25And everyone is united, saying we just need to get rid of this dreadful Labour government.
00:31And actually, when you look at the budget, Rachel Reeves pretty much put together a budget
00:36which destroyed the aspirations and hopes of pretty much everyone in this country.
00:39And whether that is about the inheritance tax or attacking farmers or employers' national insurance,
00:45so essentially they've raised taxes to such dreadful highs that people are now saying,
00:50well, it's not worth me actually running my business in the United Kingdom.
00:54We've got people fleeing the country. 11,000 non-doms have left the country.
00:58It is a disaster.
01:00Now, the fact is that Andy Burnham, yes, he has a bit more personality.
01:04My goodness, that's a pretty low bar.
01:06But he has come in, and he has no mandate.
01:10There is no mandate to govern.
01:11We have no idea what Andy Burnham stands for, no idea what the Labour Party stands for.
01:16And both of them will agree with me on this, I think, which is when Labour came to power,
01:21it didn't have a plan.
01:23It didn't have policy.
01:25It didn't know what it was about to do.
01:27And so Andy Burnham coming in, what is he going to do?
01:30And that's why I think he should call a general election.
01:33But also I would say to him, he is going to be at the height of his popularity now,
01:37and he needs to call one now to actually stop the uncertainty to see
01:41whether the British people actually want a Labour government.
01:44I'm not sure the answer is yes.
