00:00Real help happens when you don't want to help. Real help happens when there is no special intent to help.
00:07It is said that when the Buddha walks, the very sound of the footsteps is compassion.
00:13The Buddha doesn't even try to help. His movement is help. His presence is help.
00:19Just by looking at him and it's quoted so often in beautiful fables, beautiful ones.
00:24So somebody came to meet him. The Buddha was occupied.
00:26So the fellow had to wait and wait for long. Four hours, five hours.
00:30He just kept waiting and when he came, he was bubbling with questions, overflowing right up to the brim.
00:36He just looked at the Buddha and the Buddha was occupied with one thing or the other or sometimes just
00:40sitting silently.
00:41Four hours later he says, I'm done. I'm helped. You get that? I'm helped.
00:46The Buddha didn't have to do anything to help him. The presence, the being is enough.
