01:05As a father of six children in a single-income household, I can tell you the working family's tax cuts
01:11is a policy that helps my family.
01:15Hard work should pay off, not get punished with higher taxes.
01:21No tax on overtime, no tax on tips means more money in the pockets of working Americans.
01:29For my family, these savings have translated to what was once a trip, a day trip to the park, is
01:37now an overnight stay at the Jersey Shore.
01:40Bigger tax returns have allowed Americans to create new family memories and save for future projects.
01:47As the President said, I also work night shift as a police sergeant in the fine city of Bethlehem.
02:01A shortage in police recruitment has left our department depleted of officers.
02:06Our officers get called out for overtime to cover these shortages.
02:10Some pay periods, officers are working over 40 hours of overtime.
02:16That's why I'm grateful for no tax on overtime.
