00:01This is actually my father's retirement flight today.
00:05Two and a half years ago, my dad, who was a United Airlines captain,
00:10was diagnosed with ALS,
00:11and unfortunately cut his career short that he loves so much.
00:14My dad is actually the reason I got into aviation.
00:18So proud to be able to do this for you.
00:20It's a great honor for me.
00:22I just want to say thanks again and welcome aboard.
00:25I have my son flying over to driving a flight.
00:27It's just another proud moment in my life.
00:33And sometimes there's just not words to describe how cool it is.
00:38And then he followed through my footsteps and worked hard to be here.
00:42He taught me everything about flying.
00:44It's just very special to be able to continue the legacy with United.
00:49This has just been a great career since I was 10 years old.
00:53This is what I wanted to do and, you know, of course I wanted to end it a little bit
