नई दिल्ली में आयोजित 16वीं ब्रिक्स (BRICS) राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा सलाहकार (NSA) बैठक में राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा सलाहकार अजीत डोवाल ने बदलते वैश्विक परिदृश्य और बढ़ती सुरक्षा चुनौतियों पर गंभीर चिंता व्यक्त की। उन्होंने कहा कि वर्तमान समय में दुनिया सैन्य संघर्षों, भू-राजनीतिक अनिश्चितताओं, आर्थिक दबावों और नई तकनीकी चुनौतियों का सामना कर रही है। डोवाल ने कहा कि बहुपक्षवाद कमजोर पड़ रहा है और अंतरराष्ट्रीय संस्थाएं बढ़ते संकटों का प्रभावी समाधान करने में पर्याप्त साबित नहीं हो रही हैं। उन्होंने ब्रिक्स को शांति, विकास और सहयोग के लिए समर्पित देशों का एक विशेष गठबंधन बताते हुए कहा कि वैश्विक दक्षिण की आवाज को मजबूत करने में इसकी भूमिका बेहद महत्वपूर्ण है। बैठक में चीन, रूस, ईरान, संयुक्त अरब अमीरात और दक्षिण अफ्रीका समेत कई देशों के शीर्ष सुरक्षा अधिकारियों ने भाग लिया। भारत वर्ष 2026 में चौथी बार ब्रिक्स की अध्यक्षता कर रहा है और इस वर्ष का विषय “लचीलापन, नवाचार, सहयोग और स्थिरता” रखा गया है।
At the 16th BRICS National Security Advisors (NSA) Meeting held in New Delhi, India's National Security Advisor Ajit Doval expressed serious concerns over the changing global landscape and growing security challenges. He stated that the world is currently facing military conflicts, geopolitical uncertainties, economic pressures, and emerging technological threats. Doval noted that multilateralism is weakening and that international institutions are increasingly struggling to effectively address and resolve global crises. Describing BRICS as a unique alliance committed to peace, development, and cooperation, he emphasized its crucial role in strengthening the voice of the Global South. The meeting was attended by top security officials from China, Russia, Iran, the United Arab Emirates, South Africa, and other member nations. India is chairing BRICS for the fourth time in 2026, and the theme of this year's presidency is “Building Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation, and Sustainability.”
