00:02Indonesia's first giant panda cub, Satrio Rio Wiratama, made his official public debut on Saturday at Taman Safari Bogor in
00:11West Java.
00:12The historic occasion drew large crowds of visitors eager to catch a glimpse of the cub, who is the first
00:18giant panda born in Indonesia.
00:20Born to 15-year-old giant pandas Kai Tau and Hu Chun, Rio is also the only giant panda cub
00:27born outside China in the past three years.
00:30We are in the wild, so we are proud to be able to help the panda itself.
00:38To help the education of the children, they can learn more about this.
00:44If you can, don't be able to return, but keep the conservation of the breeders here.
00:51The only one that was just Rio, maybe they will come to the next one.
00:56I feel that it will be better.
00:59I'm happy that the two countries, between China and Indonesia, will be better.
01:11Rio was born on November 27th, 2025, through artificial insemination after several unsuccessful natural breeding attempts.
01:21The cub weighed approximately 200 grams at birth.
