16 dead and 12 injured following Israeli strikes, Lebanon's civil defence agency says

It comes less than a day after US officials said Israel and the Iran-backed militant group Hezbollah had agreed to a renewed ceasefire.

00:25halt the fighting between Israel and Hezbollah following a heavy exchange on Friday that killed
00:30at least 47 people in Lebanon and four Israeli soldiers. Israel said Hezbollah had fired more
00:37than 50 projectiles at Israeli forces in southern Lebanon, prompting the fresh Israeli strikes.
