President Donald Trump held a bilateral meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi on the sidelines of the G7 Summit, praising the Egyptian leader as someone respected “all over the world.” During the meeting, Trump also voiced support for Egypt in its long-running dispute over the Nile dam project, saying Cairo had been treated “very unfairly” by Ethiopia. The talks came amid heightened focus on the emerging U.S.-Iran agreement. Trump reiterated that the deal remains a memorandum of understanding rather than a final accord, warning that military action could return if negotiations collapse, underscoring the fragile nature of the diplomatic process.

00:00Well, it's a great pleasure to be with my friend,
00:03the President of Egypt.
00:05He's respected all over the world, including by me.
00:09And our relationship has been very strong,
00:12personally, for a long time.
00:14And we're working together.
00:15We're helping him with a little dam project that I think was very —
00:21I think you were very unfairly treated,
00:23if you want to know, in Ethiopia.
00:25But we'll discuss many things, including trade.
00:29And we do a lot of business with Egypt,
00:31and we'll be discussing that.
00:32We'll be discussing the Nile,
00:34because the Nile's getting a little emptier than it should be.
00:37And that's what we're here to talk about, right?
00:40A dam was built in Ethiopia,
00:43and it's causing tremendous problems for Egypt.
00:47And I'm very aware.
00:49I had that deal settled.
00:51And then we had a rigged election,
00:53and somebody came in,
00:54and they didn't know too much about that deal.
00:56They weren't not going to settle anything yet.
00:58But we'll get back into it.
01:00We'll see if we can settle it up.
01:01Okay?
01:02Would you have to say that, please?
01:18First of all, let me express my highest appreciation and respect of your current person.
01:23And thank you very much for allowing this opportunity, despite all of the hard work and the very busy schedule
01:31that you have.
01:35Well, let me start by expressing big congratulations for the breakthrough that you have achieved, Mr. President, of restoring peace
01:50to the Middle East.
02:18Once the deal was announced, there has been great
02:23appreciation but the admiration has increased in this marvelous management
02:29of such crisis at the highest level thank you we're waiting for the deal to
02:37be declared as a final as a final deal so that we can react appropriately and
02:45state our positive views and perspective of that great deal from the
02:54presidency and on behalf of the Egyptian I'd like also to express highest
03:10appreciation and respect of a calm person for the productive and excellent
03:15relations between Egypt and the United States and all the support that the
03:20United States is providing for each for the record again mr. president I cannot
03:32offer over emphasize how much respect I have for you for your understanding of
03:38the challenging issue of the damn to Egypt
03:41I don't know if I'm going to say is appropriate or not but I observed during the
04:02dinner of last night that you were surrounded mr. president by all world
04:06leaders they didn't leave you a moment to enjoy your dinner that was a lot of
04:13surround I know we had a great time but it was it was a lot there's a lot of work
04:19last night you saw that yes thank you thank you very much it's a great honor
04:24really fantastic so I'll be doing a news conference at about four o'clock today
04:30before we leave we're going to Paris and then we'll be going home tonight I guess if
04:38you really figure it and so we'll be heading to Paris where we have a big
04:43dinner meeting with a lot of the same people and then we're going home and
04:48it's been a very successful trip a lot of things have happened that have been very
04:51good and we'll be discussing a little bit about the deal with Iran at the four
04:56o'clock news conference it's a great deal for a lot of reasons but number one
05:01by far 99.9% is and they will never have a nuclear weapon and you can't give
05:06around a nuclear weapon and they will never have a nuclear weapon so that's
05:11very very strong it's a very strong deal nobody knows what it is but it's very
05:16strong and most people seem to be very happy who's really happy is the market
05:22because the market's gone up thousands of points over the last four or five days
05:26since hearing about it and the strait is going to be opening it's already
05:30partially opened it's going to be opening up soon in full over the next day or two
05:36and the market has gone wild and oil has come tumbling down oil is at 73 74 dollars
05:44and it's getting to very close to where it was before the crisis the difference is
05:49now we have Iran without a nuclear weapon so we'll see how that all plays out I
05:55think people are going to be very happy but there's nothing so smart as the
05:59market and the market loves it beyond anything that I've actually seen again the
06:07stock market has gone through the roof and oil has come tumbling down I guess
06:12it's in the low 70s now that's right that's amazing so that's what speaks that
06:17speaks louder than words the alternative would be a worldwide depression you know
06:23the stupid people want to have a worldwide depression and they're stupid
06:27people so you can only go so far drive somebody into the ground and a lot of bad
06:34things happen number one the strait would never open because they don't like
06:39floating billion-dollar ships up and down a strait when there are rockets flying over
06:43them and mines all over the place so the strait would never be open it wouldn't be open for
06:47a long time so we have we have a very hot stock market and we have a very starting to
06:54be a very low oil price and that's going to have a huge impact on affordability caused by the
06:59democrats the democrats have caused so many problems you have no idea but I'll never forget
07:05I took over and I'm in the office for one day and I have my first news conference and they
07:12said
07:13affordability sir affordability what are you doing about it I said I've just been here one day
07:18they tell me about affordability they're the ones that caused affordability it's just another con job
07:24they made up the word affordability but we're bringing prices down a lot and they're coming down
07:29fast and with the settlement so worthwhile with the settlement where you're not going to have a
07:35nuclear weapon and then we bring them down on top of that and I think oil prices might get lower
07:40than
07:40where they were before the war so I'm going to see you at four o'clock and we'll discuss that
07:47a little
07:47bit and we'll discuss other things but we've had a great meeting it's been a great summit and France
07:54has done a fantastic job President Macron has been really he's really done a great job it's been very
08:01well received everybody here has has been I don't know if they've been happy some are not doing so
08:06well but some are doing very well but they've done a beautiful job thank you very much everybody
08:24people you can invest if you want I mean what am I going to do say nobody's ever allowed to
08:28invest
08:28no we're not investing we're not putting up 10 cents and people can decide to do that but that's up
08:35to
08:35them I mean do you want me to say nobody's ever allowed to invest in in a country I'll say
08:40it with
08:40Egypt nobody's allowed to invest in Egypt am I supposed to say that we are not investing in it
08:46and we do not have a fund are you asking no I'm not if they do it fine but I
08:52would say they won't be
08:53doing it for a while until she they find out the behavior it's a behavior thing but we are not
08:59that's a false story that got picked up incorrectly from a statement that was pretty well made I think
09:07maybe a little bit could have been a little more accurate frankly but it's a story we are not investing
09:1410 cents don't forget there's never been anybody that's been so tough on Iran this should have been
09:22done by Clinton and Barack Hussein Obama it should have been done by Biden it should have been done by
09:27Bush it could have been done by a lot of people this has been going on for 47 years
09:33they've ripped you off for 47 years and I'm the only one that did anything of it they've never shot
09:38missiles and anybody we we wiped out their Navy we wiped out their military we wiped out their Air
09:44Force they have no anti-aircraft they have no radar you know the reason oil stayed low is because we
09:51were taking ships out every night that you didn't even know about two days ago three days ago a month
09:57ago we took out 22 ships we averaged from 15 to 25 ships a night nobody know that our Navy
10:05did a great
10:05job nobody knew what was happening that's why oil didn't go to $300 a barrel it went to 125 115
10:13now
10:15it's at 72 73 I heard it's lower than that now I haven't seen it in the last couple of
10:20hours no we
10:21were very tough and we took out a man named Soleimani remember that you know you think this would have
10:26happened if you were alive the evil genius he was an evil genius people forget that I took out
10:32Soleimani in my first term without that you don't have probably you don't have the situation that
10:38we're in today where we dominated we dominated we wiped out their military and because we did that
10:44and then we put up the blockade which was totally effective not one ship got by Steve
10:53no it's not final it's a memorandum of understanding and if I don't like it
10:57we'll go back to shooting at them dropping bombs on their head if I don't like it if they don't
11:05behave we'll go right back to dropping bombs right smack in the middle of their head okay because
11:12they've misbehaved for 47 years all right but nobody could have made this deal I mean the JCPOA done by
11:22Obama he handed him a billion seven in cash gave him hundreds of millions of dollars hundreds of
11:28gave him billions and billions of dollars but he gave him 1.7 billion dollars in cash green cash from
11:36banks into a Boeing 757 and flew it into Iran and they stood at the plane I have pictures of
11:45it like
11:45oh my look at this money he's giving us he tried to bribe his way out I didn't do that
11:50nobody mentions that 1.7 billion and hundreds of millions of dollars they tried to bribe their
11:57way out of it and you know what the Iranians did they laughed at Obama and they said he's a
12:03stupid
12:04son of a bitch subscribe to one India and never miss an update download the one India app now
