Transcript
00:00Playing Max on Stranger Things, I mean, it's meant everything to me.
00:04It's been such a huge part of my life.
00:07It's going to be difficult to say goodbye to her whenever that day comes.
00:12It's been like the thrill of the lifetime, really.
00:15And it's taught me so much about myself and myself as an actress.
00:20So yeah, to answer your question, it's meant a lot.
00:31For my 20th birthday, I had COVID, so I didn't do anything.
00:36But I don't know if I would have done anything if I, you know, didn't even have COVID.
00:41Because I'm not a big birthday person. I don't do like big parties or celebrations.
00:45But yeah, 20 is a big year. It definitely feels a little bit more adult, I guess.
00:50You're out of your teens, you're into your 20s.
00:52Max and I are similar in the sense that we both have a hard time trusting people, maybe.
00:59I think we both kind of have walls up.
01:02But our walls look very different, if that makes any sense at all.
01:06But yeah, it takes a lot to earn our trust. But then once you have it, you have it.
01:10I think Max is definitely more assertive than I am.
01:14And playing her has kind of like helped me
01:16to become a little bit more assertive when needed in my own life.
01:20But yeah, Max has always kind of been very, you know, headstrong and sure of herself.
01:25My favorite memory from Stranger Things.
01:27I mean, there's, there's a lot of great memories.
01:30And I think my most favorite and most special memories are more so for me than for everyone else.
01:37You have to keep some, some little details like private because they're so like precious.
01:42Every, everyone's so supportive and like waking up every day and going to set
01:45and being genuinely so happy to be there and having a cast that's just really uplifting.
01:51That's kind of like where most of my best memories lie.
01:55I think what I'll miss most about working on this show is the certainty that we're all going
01:59to see each other again and work with each other again.
02:02When we're in between seasons, there's really not a lot of, like, you don't feel this pressure to
02:07hang out with one another because you know, like you'll see each other every single day
02:11for a year or however long it's going to take.
02:14But once we don't have that anymore, I don't know what we're going to do.
02:18So the All Too Well video, her, her team reached out to my team first and just said that she
02:25wanted to pitch something to me.
02:27And then we exchanged numbers and I didn't know what she wanted me to do, but I would have said
02:32yes,
02:32probably no matter what it was.
02:34And then she texted me and she pitched me the idea and it just so happened to be like
02:38the short film for my personal favorite and one of her most iconic songs.
02:43So it was a no brainer for me and I've always looked up to her and loved her music.
02:49So working with her was, you know, something I never thought would happen, but I'm so glad that it did.
02:54What do the next five years look like for me?
02:58I'd say, I think something I really want to do is, is get back into theater maybe.
03:04Um, that's kind of where like my love and passion for acting was born in a way.
03:09So I'd like to kind of revisit that now that I'm older.
03:12So, I don't know, that's on, on, on my wish list for the next five years.
03:17And we'll see whatever else comes my way, I guess.
03:24Magia, miss you, thank you.
03:29You
