00:16It has a very special place in my heart because it was inspired by my father's teachings.
00:29And it is the only piece of music that my father ever got to see me compose, create, write, if

00:42I was very fortunate to have a father like Sotiri.
00:47He was my living philosopher, if you will.
00:54He used to take me up for these long walks up on the Greek mountains.
00:59And during those times, he would try to teach me about simplicity, appreciation for life, all of life, appreciation for

01:20You know, life is very, very precious.
01:25And it is very short.
01:27And it's very fragile.
01:31It finishes just like that.
01:36We must try to live it to the fullest, every last moment of it.
01:48He would tell me, you know, the past is the past.
01:56You can't live in it.
01:59The future, when it gets here, it's going to be today.
