00:01Mr. President, we're third generation.
00:04These two are some of our kids.
00:07We'll look for Pacific seafood.
00:08My grandfather immigrated into this country
00:11and started his first fish market in 1941.
00:15From there, we now are one of the largest
00:16vertically integrated seafood companies in North America.
00:20It was an American dream, and I'm honored to have been
00:23Where are you from?
00:23Portland, Oregon, and now Arizona.
00:26Liberal.
00:28I'm just not a liberal.
00:29Trust me.
00:31There's probably more people than you think as Republicans,
00:35conservatives.
00:35If we could count the votes.
00:36That's another issue.
00:37If you could count the votes properly.
00:40But where we are is this, the act, the proclamation today,
00:44and the executive over the last year and prior to this
00:47is really going to help us.
00:49We have 3,000 families that work with us and 715 fishing
00:55families, lower 48 in Oregon, Washington, California, and Alaska
00:59that depend on what we catch, what we process,
01:03and what we grow and sell is the healthiest protein on the planet.
01:07And you're giving us access to these family wage jobs
01:10in these coastal communities where we're usually the number one
01:13or number two employer in those cities and counties
01:16and coastal communities we are in.
01:18So I just wanted to say thank you on behalf of that.
01:203,000 employees and 715 fishermen.
01:24Thank you, Mr. President.
01:25Secretaries, thank you.
01:26And everybody that supports this industry.
01:28The President.
01:28So did you ever see this happening when they destroyed your whole life
01:33and your family and your business and everything else?
01:34Did you ever think that somebody would come along and sit?
01:38I'm going to just be really clear.
01:40There's never been a president to do this.
01:46That's very nice.
01:47Yeah.
