00:00Think about the courage that that takes.
00:02Think about how inspiring that is for the crowd to see something like that.
00:05It speaks to the human spirit.
00:07And you very rarely get to see that anymore in many of the sports.
00:10There's not a criticism of any of those sports, but it's a testament to this one.
00:14And why we're so excited not just about Sunday night,
00:16but we're excited about what this brand means about America's ability to expand
00:21and reach out to different parts of the world.
00:23You will see these cards.
00:24You're hosting them in 17 or 18 different jurisdictions.
00:27That's going to grow, in my opinion.
00:29And as you grow more countries that you go to and do this,
00:32but in the end it will be an American company and an American brand that's bringing this sport,
00:36even though it may be their fighters, bringing this sport to those places.
00:39And that is the definition of American soft diplomatic power.
00:43And so we're excited to sign this today, and we're really excited about Sunday.
00:47We're never going to see anything like that again, guys, ever.
00:49I was there late last night.
00:52They were testing the pyrotechnics.
00:53I'm not going to give away anything other than to say they work.
00:55It was good.
00:57The Secret Service wasn't as excited by the explosions, but everybody else and what they built out there was phenomenal.
01:02We'll never see it again.
01:04Although the president's threatening to leave it permanently.
01:06You heard that, right?
01:08He's threatening to leave the general.
01:09I just don't know.
01:10Maybe we'll just host weekly fights between people and politics and settle our scores that way.
01:15But all kidding aside, Sunday is an unbelievable, historic, I think never to be repeated until next year, experience for
01:25the American people to be able to see a sport.
01:28This is where I want to close.
01:30And I made this point earlier.
01:31We were doing a little interview about it.
01:34But the White House is the people's house.
01:36It belongs to the people of the United States.
01:38The American 250 celebration belongs to the people of the United States.
01:41And there are millions and millions of Americans from all walks of life that are not necessarily attuned to politics
01:46or the financial markets or anything else, but they love the sport.
01:49And every Saturday, we've got a big event once a month.
01:52They're tuning in and they're watching and they host it.
01:55For them to be able to see this event with their White House in the background as part of our
01:59celebration as a country in our 250 years, I think is a gift to the American people.
02:05That's what Saturday Sunday is about.
02:07It's a gift to the American people.
02:08They're going to see their White House in their capital on their nation's birthday celebrating with a historic event.
02:14We could have had a band and we have great bands.
02:16We could have done a Shakespeare in the Park production.
02:19There are a lot of things we could have done with it, but this one will have people watching, probably
02:22over, what, a billion people all over the world.
02:24A billion people all over the world will be watching America celebrate its 250th birthday with the White House in
02:30the background and some of the best athletes in the world in that octagon.
02:34And we're happy to be a part of that and we're happy to be a part of all the things
02:37we're going to be working on together in the years to come.
02:40So thank you guys.
02:40Thank you guys for covering it.
02:42Thank you guys for coming.
02:44The State Department, a lot of people who work at the State Department, we have members of the Diplomatic Corps.
02:48They get invited to a lot of meetings, but not many like this one.
02:51So this is great.
