00:50In a statement three days after the death of Rene Baterbonia and Divine Adili, the Ateneo categorically states there were
00:57no weights of any kind used during the players' exercise.
01:01The university says the team was engaged in a conditioning exercise in knee-deep water near the shoreline when they
01:07were suddenly engulfed by massive waves and the powerful rip current.
01:11It says, quote,
01:24The Ateneo also says the university's board of trustees mandated a fact-finding inquiry and that head coach Tab Baldwin
01:32and team manager Epok Kimpo have gone on leave to preserve the integrity, independence, and fairness of this investigation.
01:39Meantime, the Philippine Sports Commission urges Baldwin to come forward.
01:44PSC Chairman Patrick Gregorio says,
01:46Where is Tab Baldwin? Why is he still not speaking up?
01:50This is beyond Ateneo. This is a national concern.
01:53Out of respect for the family and the Filipino people, he has to come forward.
01:58Baldwin will also have to face employment issues as the Labor Department hands him a show-cause order for Monday,
02:03June 15, regarding his alien employment permit.
02:06Meanwhile, the National Bureau of Investigation says it will also investigate the deaths of the student-athletes.
02:12The Aurora Police Provincial Office initially reported no signs of foul play.
02:17But the NBI says the absence of foul play does not resolve whether there is criminal liability from a lack
02:23of oversight or safety precautions.
02:26Hacktivist group NULSEC Philippines claims responsibility for defacing the website of the Philippine Senate.
02:32NULSEC announces on Facebook it had defaced and changed the look and content of the Senate website.
02:37It also posted that it was watching the Senate.
02:40The defacement turns the Senate website black, with texts protesting the current chaos in the institution.
02:46The Senate remains unavailable and is under maintenance as of Thursday, June 11.
02:51The Senate's electronic data processing and management information system confirms the defacement.
02:56But it's said no confidential or sensitive information has been compromised.

03:10The lawyers whose names were unveiled come from three law firms, PECA Bar Law, Capunan and Castillo Law Offices, and
