00:03That crucial 1.5-degree figure that we've all been warned about has been hit now.
00:092024 was 1.6 degrees warmer.
00:20For a millennia, we imagined our species eternal.
00:26Today, we speak of extinction instead of legacy.

01:02For me, to rebel, it's an act of love, it's an act of construction of possibilities.
01:07The only world we have to express our power is our body.

01:15There was a new type of active resistance taking root.
01:18Citizens took their countries to court.
01:21Dutch activists have won a legal battle to force government leaders to take action on climate change.
01:29The biggest case ever to be before this court is a climate case.
01:34We need to stay below 1.5 degrees.
01:37If no action is taken immediately, it will become impossible to stay under this limit.
01:43This is using legal means to deal with an issue that is faced by people around the world.
01:50Climate change, it's a human rights problem that we are all affected by.
02:01There are so many voices in the environment right now.
02:05We need to choose carefully who and what we are listening to.
02:21Climate research is moving faster than ever.
02:24But there are so many risks of what we can create with this new intelligence.
02:27You see, this urgent moment, of course, requires more troops, more munitions.
02:31It requires more innovation, more AI in everything and ahead of the curve.
02:35No more climate change worship.
02:41Humanity stood at a crossroad.
02:45Would it choose to lead this formidable transition through knowledge?
02:49Or be forced into it by crisis?
03:01None of us will ever be forgiven by our children and grandchildren if we falter and fail.
