00:00Swooping down like a lightning strike, this eagle landed on top of a snake,
00:04pinning its tail down with its sharp talons.
00:07Realizing that it was trapped, the snake had no choice but to strike back.
00:12It tried to bite the eagle to force it to release it,
00:15but the eagle's quick reflexes came into play.
00:18Just as the snake's head moved forward, the eagle snatched it midair.
00:22The poor snake couldn't move at all after that,
00:24and the battle was over before it even started.
00:32In a grassy land, this brown snake eagle circled above a forest cobra.
00:37The cobra was unsure of what to do,
00:40and it lunged at the eagle in a desperate attempt to scare it away.
00:43But the eagle stood its ground, continuously blocking the cobra's path.
00:49After a tense standoff, the eagle decided to strike,
00:52and it grabbed the snake's head in its talons and began biting it with its beak.
00:56The cobra must have been in an enormous amount of pain,
01:00but there was nothing that it could do to stop the predator.
01:09There was no way for this unfortunate fox to get away from a huge eagle that was coming after it.
01:15The eagle was just too fast for the terror-stricken scavenger,
01:18and it didn't take it more than five seconds to close the gap between it and the terrified fox.
01:24The fox knew that perfectly well,
01:27but its uncontrollable fear made it run despite its better judgment.
01:31There wasn't another option for the fox either.
01:34It's not like it could have stood its ground and fought the vicious bird away.
01:37The fox was doomed to a confrontation that it was guaranteed to lose,
01:42and the only thing that its fear allowed it to do
01:44was run as fast as it could and hope for the best.
01:54You might think that a wolf would be better suited to deal with these winged killing machines.
01:59They're bigger than foxes and they're an actual predator after all,
02:03but you'd be very mistaken.
02:05Just like foxes,
02:06the only thing that a wolf would do upon noticing an eagle coming is to run,
02:10and if they're lucky enough to find a place to hide, they'll do that too.
02:14No wolf will ever fight an eagle willingly,
02:17as these bloodthirsty beasts have a way of paralyzing their movements and forcing them to submit.
02:23Their talons are too powerful to break away from,
02:25and as soon as they lock a wolf within them,
02:28it's game over for the unfortunate canine.
02:38It's definitely not a pretty sight watching a predator snatch another animal's newborn away,
02:43but nature can be brutal sometimes,
02:45and this clip shows exactly that.
02:48A golden eagle swooped down and snatched a wolf pup right out of the open,
02:52flying off with the little one before anyone could even react.
02:56And despite the pup's mom desperately running towards the scene to save her little one,
03:01I doubt that it would have actually been able to rescue it,
03:03even if it had gotten there in time.
03:06The poor pup was doomed the very moment that the hungry bird set its eyes on it,
03:10and there was nothing that the mom could have done to save it.
03:19Whenever wolves try to challenge eagles,
03:22the outcome is always the same.
03:24They end up paying with their lives.
03:26This wolf was screaming at the top of its lungs while getting attacked by the hungry bird of prey,
03:30but as hard as it tried to fight back,
03:33and even though it was a pretty big wolf,
03:35the canine failed to protect itself,
03:37and it ended up meeting a grim fate.
03:39The vicious eagle was able to wrap its talons around the ill-fated wolf's neck right away,
03:44and after that, there was only one possible outcome.
03:47The eagle started squeezing as hard as it could,
03:50and the wolf kept fighting for air until it died.
04:01Going after a fully-grown wolf instead of running the other way
04:05is one of the many reasons why eagles are a different breed of predators.
04:16If you really think about it,
04:17eagles are just birds,
04:19and birds are the most vulnerable creatures in the animal kingdom,
04:22and the easiest to hunt, too,
04:23if you can catch them, that is.
04:32But yeah, this is basically like a chicken hunting a dog,
04:35and a really dangerous dog at that.
04:38But it does so flawlessly,
04:40and makes it look so easy.
04:41Look at that fearsome bird standing over its prey,
04:44looking all powerful.
04:53Believe it or not,
04:54the golden eagle in this clip was only three to four years old,
04:57and it was able to take down a fully-grown goat,
05:00which is always a wild sight.
05:09The deadly bird swooped down and attacked with relative ease,
05:12but I really wish the clip was a bit longer,
05:14as we didn't get to see much aside from the devastating attack.
05:17See you soon,
05:17Bye-bye.
05:17Like-t nome,
