00:00I recently got to play the new Star Fox game for Nintendo Switch 2 at a hands-on preview event.
00:05This is a remake of the original Nintendo 64 game, so it's the exact same characters, plot,
00:10and level design we had with the originals, but it slapped on with a new coat of paint thanks to
00:15the Nintendo Switch 2 hardware. The graphics were incredible and the new character designs looked
00:20great. We moved on to co-op where I got to play as the gunner while my partner got to
00:24play as the
00:25pilot. I was able to aim with the Joy-Con in mouse mode and aiming was super easy. It's a
00:30really
00:30fun way to play and I think I'm going to be trying this out with some friends. Lastly was the
00:34multiplayer. Basically you take out enemies or you try to capture the flag and move the flag to your
00:39zone where you can get points. So they use the Nintendo Switch camera in a really great way where
00:43you can have your face be tracked so that you look like one of the characters. It tracks eye, mouth,
00:48and face movement and it can be used in any online game for Nintendo Switch voice chat regardless if
00:53you're playing Star Fox or not. I left my hands-on preview feeling really good about this game and
00:58I can't wait to play it when it comes out June 25th. What do you guys think? Are you happy
01:01they've
01:02remade this game for a new audience with new graphics or would you have wished for a new title?
01:05Let me know in the comments.
