00:05All right, on the sideline of Space 2026, there's a lot of events going on, including the MOU signing ceremony,
00:13and also the launching of a few other things, and one of the things that being launched today is actually
00:21on TDC, the Diplomatic Council, and joining me is the President himself, Neshan Selvaraj.
00:28Thank you so much for joining us. Now, share with us about TDC and how important it is to be
00:33launched this time around, and what are some of the plans moving forward.
00:39Thank you so much, Najib. Really, I'm really glad to be here in SPIF. I've been coming to Russia since
00:442017 and been involving in a lot of sideline events and having an organization with the Kremlin.
00:50The Diplomatic Council is something that we've been working on for the past two years, actually, to strengthen the international
00:57cooperation and trust and unity.
00:59This is one of the main reasons. We did a lot of research and tried to cooperate with a lot
01:04of governments across the world to find a fundamental reason and strategic objective on establishing this.
01:11And finally, here we are today. We officially launched it with the prisms of a lot of vulnerable members across
01:16the world.
01:16And the Diplomatic Council, we set to be operating across the world, starting with Russia, Malaysia, and also the United
01:25Arab Emirates.
01:25So, we have a lot of sideline events that are going to be coming up soon, very soon.
01:30What's the plans of this in terms of TDC when you have all this information in terms of diplomatic and
01:36all that?
01:37What are some of the things that, what are the objectives, actually, in establishing TDC and also having presence in
01:43all these countries?
01:45When we established the Diplomatic Council at TDC, we had a very clear vision.
01:48We wanted to make it inclusivity, compassion, and integrity, also along with professionalism and so on.
01:54The reason I'm saying that inclusivity is very important because in the current world, the geopolitical situation, everybody is divided.
02:00If you look at the Western and the Eastern, it's kind of like a complicated situation now.
02:06Everybody wants to divide and take a stand separately.
02:09But the Diplomatic Council wanted to play a role as a bridge in between all kind of government.
02:16Nevertheless, we wanted to really bridge and connect along with a lot of projects and so on.
02:21So, that is one of our main objectives.
02:23And in the upcoming time, for this year, we have a lot of plans, starting off with the Diplomatic Council
02:29Fellowship Program,
02:31which is going to be a lot of international delegation, going to be working alongside with ministers of foreign countries
02:37to learn and get insights of diplomacy and so on.
02:41And apart from that, also, we're going to be hosting a Global Diplomacy Summit very soon in Kuala Lumpur this
02:47coming December.
02:48You've met and also dealt with a lot of delegations from other countries as well.
02:54So, we know it's deeper from what each country's leaders would say in terms of diplomacy and all that.
03:01What would the delegates say in terms of, you know, maybe business community and other community as well, in terms
03:08of having to improve their diplomacy at the international channel?
03:11For instance, we have U.S. presence this time around in the X-ray of 2016.
03:15So, what would you think that the other community wanted in terms of diplomacy in light of our German prevention?
03:22I think in the current era that everybody should and must have a knowledge of diplomacy because even though there's
03:30a lot of media,
03:31there is a lot of different kind of narration going around about what is the current situation going on.
03:37But I strongly believe that this kind of, like TDC and other kind of events, when they take part in
03:42this kind of sideline events,
03:43it really gives a lot of insights and deep conversation on understanding of diplomacy alongside also with the current global
03:51agenda.
03:51And they get a lot of knowledge.
03:53And I think this is one of the interesting things that I get to learn from a lot of delegates
03:57that they have a clear vision on what is all this event is all about and so on.
04:02All right.
04:03Nassan, thank you so much for joining us.
04:05All the best for TDC.
04:06And that is one of the things that, one of the examples that you see being launched here is PN26
04:12and there's a lot of sideline events will be reported on Astoron.com.
04:21TDC.
