00:01Hello and welcome. Welcome to UnityCubes. Today I'll be teaching at MS Pin Shop.
00:08What? MS Pin Shop. It's an absolute standard tool inside of Windows.
00:14You can do a lot with that. Not only can you make yourself some templates.
00:19For your website, for your blog site, just in case you want it.
00:22For your Facebook, Twitter, your Instagram, your Pinterest. Doesn't matter.
00:27It's wherever you want to put the photo. As I said, the idea is to make an advertisement that you
00:33want to share and stick it over on your website.
00:36And if someone or somebody interacts with the content, whether it's a video, you can get paid from that.
00:42Or whether it's an actual link, where you get paid off the actual click.
00:48It's like a pay per view. I mean, what? Yeah, something like that.
00:53As I said, I'm trying to show you different things, and I'm trying to show you the easy way around
00:56it.
00:57So, as I said, I'll give you about absolutely super standard templates.
01:03So first of all, you want a simple template. How do you go about making a template?
01:07You open a file. I'm in Downloads. That's what I have. Just go to Downloads. Right click. Make a new
01:13file.
01:13So, you can call it whatever. Now, if you look down my list, there should be Bitmap here.
01:20Yeah, my Windows have decided to get rid of my Bitmap. I've got everything except Bitmap.
01:27That's great. So, what I would do, because I don't have Bitmap, I'd have to go to the internet, and
01:33I would download some random photos.
01:35So, let's say not that. Take the photo. Let's say not this. All of this one. It makes no difference.
01:40Take the photo.
01:42Okay, type the screen. I apologize. If I click on the photo, as it's off the screen, all you do
01:47is copy the photograph.
01:48Or you drag and drop it onto your desktop. So, I'll go to the internet. I'll pick some random photograph
01:53of any kind.
01:55You drag it, drop it, and put it in your computer. Now, I don't have to really click, because now

03:03Go here. Here is now your photo, which is 160 pixels. Click on it. You can right click on it
03:08and go rename.
03:10Click it twice. Click it once. Click it again. And then you're going to type one here. 160. I think

03:18Now, of course, we want a text box for that. What you want to do is take this. And you'll
03:24want to copy that. And you'll want to paste it again.

03:33Select all of it. Right click and just cut it. Just get it out of there. Go back here. Press

03:39The width. The width is right. How tall is it? The tallness of the box. It depends on you. Let's
03:48make it about 60.

03:55leave 60.
03:57So, we'll do 60. So, there's my text box. And I'm going to press text. And I'm going to add
04:02some text to that.
04:03If you press this, you can zoom in. If you want to press this bar, you can press this and
04:07show to squares.
04:10Sometimes it's good for when you're doing your text. Go back to here. Press your text box. Hold it. Drag
04:15it.
04:17Write some text in there. Whatever you want. We'll call it template.
04:24OK. It's called template 2026. There you go. Nice, simple template.
04:31Hold the corner. Drag it where you want it. Just keep it black and white. Nice, easy, plain and simple.
04:37If you highlight the text, you can go here. And you can change the colour of the text.
04:42Pretty good. Press that. Let's make it orange.
04:46But nowadays, everything is orange. Because of AOI. And make it blue.
04:51Pick off it. OK. Dead, dead, my template. Press that. Press OK.
04:56OK. OK. So here's my photo. And here's my text box.
05:00Great. You've got to put them together to make it look like that.
05:03Great. So you take your photo. Open it.
05:07What do I want to show you? I'm going to pull it over a little bit.

05:20Of course, what you would do before you add text to that, if you select the whole thing,
05:24right click and cut that out of there. And let's make it great.
05:29OK. Let's go here and paste it. Right. Now, all you want to do is select all of it.
05:35Right click, copy that. Just close it and say yeah. Just save it. It's going to go great.
05:40Like that. OK. Now, click behind your photo. Go back here.
05:45Now, go to zoom into it. I recommend you zoom into this.
05:49As you can see, hold this and drag it down.
05:53Just hold it and drag it down a bit more.
05:55And then you just paste your big grey box into the actual photo.
06:01Line it up so it fits inside the box. Click off it. Hold this.
06:05And drag it back to here. That gives you the size of your template.
06:09Well, don't forget this is your template. So go here and you say yeah.
06:14OK. Now, this is how my template looks in the future.
06:16Now, if I get any photograph at all. Any photograph.
06:20I can just basically copy this. Paste it there.
06:24And I can go off on the internet. I can find myself a new photo if I want to.
06:28Again, my own personal preference.
06:31And what you do is you just replace the photo that's here.
06:34OK. Of course, let's click back on the photo.
06:39And we're going to copy it. We're going to paste it.
06:41So we'll need the photo separate. I'll show you.
06:43Go back here. Edit the photo.
06:45Now, you might think it's a lot of work.

07:24So imagine now you've got loads of photographs.
07:26All you have to do is add some text.
07:28Of course, the text box would depend on what you want.

07:35And of course, if you pick a colour.

07:39Chuck it on it.

07:48All you have to do is zoom into that.
07:51And of course, you press the air box.
07:53You can just go here and get rid of that.

08:01And you can come this side and you can get rid of that.
08:04Because you don't want that on your template.
08:07So save it.
08:08And now this is my brand new template.
08:10Now it's gone from grey template to grey template.
08:13And of course, what I can do, I can just go here.

08:18Copy and paste this one.
08:19This is now in your template.
