00:00Is it just me or is New York having a moment? Fashion week in February was major. We just had
00:05the Met Gala and Denver just shut down the Big Apple for the Gucci cruise show. But perhaps
00:10nothing is more New York than the I Heart New York Tea, which I don't know if you've realised,
00:15but it's been making a serious comeback recently. Created in the 70s, this instantly recognisable
00:20design was inspired by American artist Robert Indiana's love sculpture. But you probably
00:25remember it as a relic of the Y2K era. Appearing in so many TV shows and films of the 2000s,
00:31this tea certainly made the rounds. Think Blair Waldorf in Gossip Girl, Lindsay Lohan in Confessions
00:37of the Teenage Drama Queen, and probably, most famously, the Olsen twins in New York Minute.
00:42But as of late, I've been seeing it on a cohort of It Girls of Now. Alex Consani saw fit
00:47to wear the
00:47Chanel Metier d'Art iteration to unveiling in Times Square. Rose Grey's been wearing so many across
00:53her American tour. And Emilia de Mourningberg saw fit to wear hers during the American premiere of
00:59The Devil Wears Prada 2. But this iconic motif goes far beyond New York. Recently, I've spotted
01:04I Love London, I Love LA, and Balenciaga has an I Heart Paris t-shirt and sweatshirt too. So whichever
01:11city your heart lies, be sure to wear it on your chest. Would you wear this tea? Let us know
01:16in the
01:16comments down below. And of course, you can read the full report by link in bio.
