00:00Why can't you put jammers in the cars to stop them?
00:04You know, all this technology and yet they can't think of anything like that.
00:09No, it's terrible, isn't it?
00:11No, I don't agree with it.
00:13Yeah, it shouldn't be allowed, no.
00:15Just coming into town today, coming down towards the tunnel,
00:18and it was like a lorry driving on his phone, using his phone,
00:21and thinking, at the end of the day, you know, it's a death machine.
00:24You know, just put your phone away.
00:26You shouldn't be allowed to have your phone out, and it's simple as.
00:28I think they won't, nobody will catch them.
00:30That's the problem, yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:33It should be things on the traffic lights, sensors, you know.
00:38It is dangerous, but if it is an emergency, I'd say, like, just park somewhere safe,
00:45and if you're not taking a call or anything, just put your phone to the side.
00:51This is the stupid thing about people on mobile phones.
00:54Before they go on their mobile phones, they have a look around,
00:56they scout around to make sure it's OK.
00:58So they know it's wrong.
01:00You know, just got to use a bit of common sense.
01:03When you see them, when you look in your mirror, you can see them on the phone,
01:07or, you know, traffic lights and that, you see them.
01:10I'm not having a go at the police, because they've got an hard job to do.
01:14It's not done that often enough for it to affect people.
01:18At the end of the day, the police can't, if they stopped everybody,
01:21because it is classed as a minor offence.
01:23I mean, say that to the poor people who have lost people who have been killed
01:27by neglectful drivers on the phone.
