00:05and this is yet another one that we're reporting on from sector 74.
00:10You know Anshul I know a little early but I just want to ask you
00:13do you have any information about how the people inside the flat are doing at this point in time
00:18this is inside one of the apartments on the 12th floor is what I understood
00:23have they been rescued?
00:29So yes the people who were around that apartment have been brought down but yes it is still not clear
00:36if at all there is anyone that is stuck inside the fire the initial PCR call that was made
00:44by the society they claim that there is a fire on its 12th floor and yes there were people
00:49who were residing in that very flat however it is still not clear if at all people
00:54have been rescued from that flat or if at all there are people who are still stuck inside
00:59but yes the operations are underway at this point in time and the fire department is trying
01:04to make sure that people who are residing in the nearby units of that entire block in which
01:09the fire has woken out they could at least be taken out safely in a safe manner and then
01:14eventually there are some other lives that are still stuck over there but yes a massive
01:19operation has now been launched by the Noida fire department to make sure that the fire
01:24gets under control and eventually most of the lives are saved in this entire matter.
01:29The visuals look terrible you know I am going through these pictures right now coming in
01:33and putting many of them out for our viewers where you can see the smoke bellowing from what
01:38appears to be a balcony isn't it unsure where the fire has broken out at least we can see
01:45these pictures of dark smoke at this point in time this is mobile phone footage that a lot of people
01:51are now sharing and at this point in time to tell our viewers a little about what has happened this
01:57is sector 74 in Noida it's a posh society goes by the name of Ivy County and it's a new
02:04one and this is
02:05where the fire is broken out on the 12th floor I'm going to get in a word again from Anshul

02:10more on what could have possibly happened here what time did the fire start do give us an overview of
02:15the current situation how many fire attenders on the on the spot Anshul if you could tell us a little
02:22more about that also even as we stay with these pictures of dark thick smoke are billowing out of
02:27that building this is the 12th floor it's a multi-storey building as you can see in these pictures and
02:33it's a new set of apartments uh it where the fire has broken out at this point in time I'm
02:38sure
02:42oh well yes this is ivy county society in Noida sector 74 and 75 is uh is is a very
02:49new society it
02:50was in fact built just two years ago and the uh PCR call that was originally made from the site
02:55of the
02:55members of the society was around 7 a.m. in which they claim that there is a fire that has
02:59broken out
03:00on a uh in a house on the 12th floor of the building uh the exact reason of the fire
03:05is
03:05something that has still not been a certain how many people are how many people were present inside
03:10that apartment is still not a certain uh but uh at this point in time at least five vehicles of
03:16the
03:16Noida fire department are on the spot uh water tenders are on the spot and they're trying to make
03:21sure that the fire gets doused at the earliest but the exact reason and as to how many people are
03:27still stuck over there this is something that is still being looked at the main focus or of the
03:30uh firefighters at this point in time is to make sure that the fire gets under control over the last
03:35few days in that entire area of Noida sector 74 and 75 there have been several incident incidences of
03:41fire that have come out most of these incidences were small incidences that happened uh due to short
03:47circuit that happened in the entire society uh in in their apartment but uh in today's day and age when
03:52uh we are seeing so much development that is happening and people who are actually residing
03:56in such posh colonies actually have many combustible uh things that are fitted in the society such as
04:02in their houses such as fall ceiling woodwork that is done over there so even a small spark could
04:07actually go ahead and result into a massive fire and that could be one of the one of the reasons
04:12that
04:12a small short circuit would eventually result in a massive fire that could have happened uh in that
04:17society as well however at this point in time it is too early to reach any conclusion
04:20and now the Noida administration or the Noida police the Noida uh fire department is trying
04:26to make sure that the entire fire is doused at the earliest and if at all any person is stuck
04:31within that fire they could be taken out at the earliest the visuals that we have gotten at this
04:36point in time are from outside from the other end of the of the flat where uh the fire that
04:42is that
04:42can be seen coming out is can be seen coming out from the uh balcony so it can be predicted
04:48that
04:48this could be that this could be a fire that would have actually happened in an ac unit but it
04:53is
04:53still very very early to reach any sort of a conclusion it is very early but it's a big likelihood
04:58given the manner in which we've seen similar such incidents where the ac unit has been responsible
05:04a word of caution and advice to our viewers as well if at all you are using air conditioners then
05:10certainly ensure checks that are to be done for these units uh all of them in fact need to be
05:18checked
05:18very regularly this is extremely important having said that we don't know the cause of the fire just
05:23here that is something that we'll know during the course of the investigations and of course we'll be
05:27getting those details for you as well eventually images from sector 74 in Noida and ivy county it's a
05:33posh society not too old uh just about two years ago it was inaugurated and that's where the fire has
05:39started on the 12th floor of an apartment
