00:00I love the role that color plays in this movie, especially the color red.
00:04I was wondering if you could just speak to the symbolism and how it helped you tell the story.
00:07This is the second time I have given the main characters colors to the internals that do the
00:14same thing. So they were throughout the whole film and for Will is blue and for Agnes is red.
00:19Because blue is the upper chakra, so it's the intellect. The blue is the throat chakra and
00:24the third eye is blue and sort of a light blue and turquoise and indigo. And so that's where he
00:31is,
00:32you know, he's the sky. And red is the color of the root chakra. It's a color of, you know,
00:38the beating heart. So it's much more in the body and is the lava in the center of the earth
00:44as
00:44opposed to the heavens and sky. So they represent these two polarities.
