00:01A Lufthansa Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner tipped onto its nose at Frankfurt Airport on Thursday.
00:08While the aircraft was parked, the nose landing gear suddenly collapsed,
00:12causing the front of the plane to crash to the ground.
00:15The incident happened just before passengers boarded the plane that was scheduled to fly to Los Angeles.
00:21However, cabin crew and ground staff were on board, of which several were injured.
00:26They are now receiving medical treatment.
00:30The plane was one of the airline's newest long-haul aircraft and entered into service in February.
00:35The cause of the incident and the extent of the damage remains unclear.
00:40Lufthansa said it was reviewing the incident together with authorities.
