00:00It's normally what would Beyonce do?
00:03Hello, Amelia.
00:04Hi, hello, hello.
00:05It's so lovely to see you again.
00:07You too.
00:07I know the world has moved on, right?
00:09Yes.
00:09But I haven't.
00:10Okay, okay.
00:11Fair enough.
00:11And I want you to know that I've actually got the title of Jodie Maw of the Dragon.
00:16Nice, nice.
00:16I like that.
00:16Because in Scotland we say Maw instead of Mother.
00:18I've actually got a baby dragon called Derek.
00:21Oh my god, amazing.
00:22Amazing.
00:23This is very good.
00:24I'm very platted.
00:25Thanks.
00:26When we're talking about it.
00:27If you look online and you find it online, it'll all make sense.
00:29Yeah.
00:30Okay.
00:30A lot to take in right now.
00:31Yes.
00:31I promise it does work.
00:33Okay.
00:34Danannis, you are women that have empowered me.
00:37Thanks.
00:37I mean, literally one of the most empowering characters ever, right?
00:41She was pretty strong.
00:43Yeah.
00:43For sure.
00:44How do you go about normal life now though?
00:46Because when I put my outfits on and I put Derek on, I'm going to just slay them all.
00:52Yeah.
00:52I mean, yeah, definitely.
00:53Definitely there is that.
00:55It's funny.
00:56It's sort of, you know, you do a show like that.
00:58And as I was saying before, like, Daenerys gave me confidence by asking me to turn up and
01:04play her.
01:05You know, you have to just do it.
01:07Like there are the lines, there are the people, there's the camera.
01:09You just got to go.
01:09And so when you do that, whenever I was in her shoes, I would get this thrill and this surge
01:16of confidence.
01:17And then they'll cut and I'll be like, and I'm done.
01:19You know, and it would like go away again.
01:21But the longer time goes by between now and then, the more I see that she was in me all
01:29and on.
01:30She was always in all of us.
01:32That's it.
01:33My friends will joke sometimes if I'm feeling a bit low, they'll be like, you're more of the dragons.
01:37Come on, get a grip.
01:38Yes.
01:38Do you ever channel Daenerys and be like, what would she do in this situation?
01:42What?
01:43It's normally what would Beyonce do?
01:45I mean, that is another queen, so that's very fair.
01:48If I'm honest, quite, yeah.
01:50My phrases are normally like, I'm a Sasha Fierce, like, rather than I'm going to like Daenerys.
01:56But props to Daenerys always, always.
01:59Just when I thought I couldn't love you more, honestly.
02:01But this is my favourite activity tonight, celebrating women.
02:04Yes.
02:04I mean, why is it so important that we have events like this?
02:07Because it's easily forgotten that we've just, we're fine now.
02:11And we're not.
02:12Yeah.
02:12And there's still a good amount of time yet to come.
02:16And we also need to encourage our younger generations to continue on with what our mums began,
02:24and what we are continuing, and so on and so on and so on.
02:27And also the women who like, the women who struggled when they were our age,
02:34and have now found maybe the right acceptance in our society.
02:40But we still have to make up for lost time, I think.
02:43And we need to make sure that we're still moving forward.
02:47This is it.
02:48Listen, I have been screaming internally, trying to keep myself together.
02:52Because you're mother.
02:53I know.
02:54You're mother.
02:55I'm ma.
02:55Yes.
02:56From ma to mother.
02:57There you go.
02:58Thank you so much.
02:59You're amazing.
03:00Lovely to see you.
03:02Sorry for being weird.
03:03Oh my god.
03:04Not at school.
03:04Not at school.
03:05Not at school.
