00:04A thief broke into Bollywood actress Ravina Tandon's mother's house and stole gold
00:08jewellery worth Rs 25 lakhs. The Mumbai police has arrested a maid from the actress's mother's
00:13house named Rashi Chabria, who was hired to take care of the mother's house and was in touch with
00:18them since 2020. As the time passed, the maid won the family's trust and took away the jewellery,
00:23which was kept in the locker. The 48-year-old lady took two mobile phones with her along with the
00:28jewellery. When family members missed some watches at home and questioned their maid,
00:33she first denied but later confessed. The maid returned the watches and told police that a
00:38man named Jagdish, to whom she handed over the jewellery, will return it.
00:42It was hereby also noted that the plaintiff's mother's jewellery was kept safely in the closet
00:47in her room due to some renovation work which took place between August 2025 to October 2025.
00:52But the same was later found missing from the designated places on October 2 and then the
00:57accused accepted her fate and admitted to her stealing but never returned the gold she took.
01:02So a complaint was registered. The investigation is still in process and a total of 15 grams of
01:07gold has been recovered till now. On Rabina's professional front, the actress made her acting
01:12debut with the movie Pathar K'e Fool in the year 1991, starring alongside Bollywood actor Salman Khan.
