00:00Hajj pilgrims have gathered in Mina to throw pebbles at the Jamarat pillars in the symbolic stoning of the devil
00:08ritual.
00:09Al-Arabiya English reporter Mazen Sameh has this very report.
00:15From the Grand Mosque in Mecca, I'm standing in front of the Kaaba as more than 1.5 million pilgrims
00:21continue the Hajj journey.
00:22Earlier today, pilgrims return to Mina for the Jamarat rituals where they throw pebbles in the stoning of the devil,
00:29key ritual of Hajj.
00:30While the Jamarat ritual itself takes place in Mina, many pilgrims also return here to the Kaaba to perform tawaf,
00:37circling the Kaaba as part of the Hajj rituals.
00:39The Kaaba is the holiest site in Islam and the direction Muslims around the world face during prayer,
00:46making this one of the most emotional moments of the pilgrimage for many worshippers here today.
00:51Pilgrims will continue returning to Mina over the coming days to complete the remaining rituals of Hajj before preparing for
00:59their journeys back home.
