00:00This right here is Motorola's brand new Razer Ultra, their premium folding flip phone for
00:052026. Not a whole lot has changed, but it's definitely a little bit of a refinement.
00:08Let's go ahead and unbox it, and I'll tell you a little more about it.
00:11All right, let's unbox the Motorola Razer Ultra. The packaging is actually pretty sleek,
00:15minimal branding, clean design, and just two tabs that we'll need to slice through to get inside.
00:19Under the hood is Motorola's latest take on the flip phone, which honestly feels like one of the
00:23more fun foldables right now, albeit a little familiar. Right away, you're greeted by the
00:27Razer Ultra wrapped in a protective sleeve, along with the usual warning not to peel anything off
00:31the display. If you dig a little deeper, though, ironically, in the top of the box, you'll find
00:36some paperwork plus a USB-C cable for easy charging. There is no charger, no wall plug included, though.
00:42The real story here is definitely the hardware. The 4-inch cover screen can basically run any app
00:47without needing to open the phone, and definitely ups the functionality when it's closed. But once
00:50you flip it open, you get this big 7-inch AMOLED display that hits 5,000 nits of brightness.
00:55Powering everything is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite chip paired with 12 gigs of RAM
00:59and 512 gigs of storage. Motorola also switched to a silicon carbon 5,000 mAh battery this year,
01:06which is pretty huge for a flip phone and should help with battery life.
01:09Camera-wise, you're getting dual 50 megapixel main cameras on the front, right kind of embedded
01:14in the cover screen here, plus a 50 megapixel selfie camera on the inside. Honestly, the design
01:19here might be the best part. It comes in either a blue Alcantara finish that I saw at the hands
01:23-on,
01:24or this Pantone Cocoa, which basically looks and feels like wood also. It's definitely one
01:28of the more unique phone finishes out there. I've got a lot more testing to do with this
01:32flip phone and plenty more folds ahead. Let us know what you think of the Motorola Razr
01:36Ultra down in the comments below.
