00:12Hi, we're at the Detroit Zoo today for an event we call Heart Fest.
00:16Which is a fun event where we invite our guests to come out and get up close and personal
00:20with our zookeepers and a lot of our animals while we give them special treats.
00:24Today we've seen penguins and otters, camels, seals, polar bears and wolves.

00:39ice treats which is when we take some of their diet and we freeze it into ice and it kind

00:43makes a popsicle and it's fun for them to tear at and tear apart and play with or swim with

00:48water and we've also made them look like hearts and have a valentine's theme with it but they've
00:53gotten great treats some of them just get scents and smells because they just enjoy that to roll
00:57in the scents and smells so it's been a variety of different holiday themed things.
01:10So whenever we provide anything for the animals we always make sure we provide enough for everybody
01:15and we spread it out so everybody from the most dominant animal to the least dominant animal
01:19they all get a chance to enjoy and get the appropriate treats.
