Mercedes-AMG continues its impressive tradition of high-performance powertrains, ushering in a new level of performance with the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupé: featuring revolutionary axial-flow motors that work in tandem with a novel battery technology. Both models are equipped with three axial-flow motors and offer an output of 600 kW to 860 kW (816 hp to 1,169 hp). The innovative battery concept utilizes directly cooled cylindrical cells with a special cell chemistry that ensures uniform temperature distribution and high performance stability under continuous load.
