00:00Today, around 2 o'clock p.m., Steve Stevens streamed live on Facebook, him killing elderly gentlemen.
00:12We want to personally, on my behalf and for the city of Cleveland, give our condolence to the family of
00:20the victim.
00:20Now, Steve Stevens, we want to communicate to him that we know who he is and that he will eventually
00:30be caught.
00:31And that we're saying to him that he need not do any more harm to anybody, any innocent people,
00:42and that whatever concerns or problems that he's having, we're here to have a conversation with him.
00:50We also want to say that if the public has any information, they can call 911,
00:58and we are gathering all information, all tips that will lead to the arrest of Steve Stevens.
01:07Well, we need Steve to turn himself in.
01:09Right now, there are two families out there that are hurting, Mr. Goodwin's family,
01:15and, of course, there are people out there that care about Steve and want to see this not go any
01:20further.
01:21So we're asking him to turn himself in.
01:24We've brought everything to bear on this from our federal partners, our state and local partners,
01:29and everybody is out there looking for Steve.
01:32We want this to end with as little, with as much peace as we can bring to this right now.
01:40And we want him to turn himself in.
01:44If that doesn't happen, then, again, we have all of our partners in on this,
01:49and we'll look until we find them.
01:53Currently, Division of Police is, of course, the lead on this,
01:58but, of course, our partners from the FBI, our state and county partners are also working with us diligently
02:04to make sure that we get this person off the streets.
