Visita ai profughi siriani con Save the Children in Giordania
Trascrizione
00:00In vista del sesto anniversario della guerra in Siria che ricorre il 15 marzo,
00:04l'organizzazione non governativa Save the Children ha portato la top model Naomi Campbell
00:08al campo profughi Zaatari in Giordania dove vivono 80.000 siriani scappati dai bombardamenti.
00:14La modella ha giocato con i bambini, ha ascoltato le storie delle loro madri
00:17e si è commossa davanti alla grande forza e voglia di vivere dei piccoli.
00:30One in sympathy, I came here seeing people resilient, proud, and happy to be away from Syria, from the war,
00:42trying to learn skills, trying to learn an education, trying to better themselves and trying to get on with their
00:49lives.
00:49When you look at the camp, and I understand that the camp was tense before, and it's, you know, I'm
00:54going to say that today is really cold.
00:56And I don't know, and with the rain that you have in the winter here, I don't know how they
01:03coped,
01:04and I understood that a lot of kids died during that time when they were in tents.
01:10And now they're in aluminium, kind of tin homes, and, you know, you go inside, spotless, clean, neat.
01:25And they're very proud of their homes.
01:27You take off your shoes.
