04:29in a different place in my life and it wasn't that fun it wasn't that exciting

04:34and adventurous and he just came in at a good time and was exactly what I was

04:38looking for and we just have a really fun life together I love that fun as a

04:43part of who you are as a couple yeah what's going on your relationship that

04:46made you think that you wanted to come here uh so we have a lot of trust issues

04:51uh we've been dating for about a year and a half right about a month into

04:55officially dating he went and cheated on me behind my back I was leaving in a

05:01week for Greece when I got a DM from a girl saying she had hooked up with Grant

05:06this is after a month of you guys deciding to be exclusive yeah yeah that was

05:09within that first month yeah I knew where I had messed up I chased her across the

05:14world to Greece I surprised her because there was no way I was letting Ashley go

05:19but I think over time it's just built up into this huge mess of mistrust and

05:28resentment and I think if we can get through this maybe it'll clear that up I

05:37want to let go of the resentment I don't want to live my life like this I want to be

05:40happy I want to be carefree and I want to know if we can get back there this is

05:46gonna be the most temptation that I've ever felt and it'd be nice to see I could

05:50take it with an intention that I'm setting now like can I keep my words to

05:56myself to my daughter to her you know you have a daughter as well I do you got a

07:32basis it's a lot it takes a toll things just you know they start to boil up and we were

07:38we were going

07:38through a difficult patch fighting a lot and looking for what's next okay I get that I know I'm ready

07:46take the next step of engagement and I really want to be married to Lino I've been married before

07:51you have I was 21 and I was only married for a year I see but I was with that

07:57person since I was 15

07:58it was your first love my first love very young and now I'm Lino's first love when it comes to

08:03marriages that not everybody wants marriage is that something you want Lino it is something I want okay I

08:09do see a future with her but obviously I'm nervous the beginning of our relationship was rocky

08:14for me Alexis said that we were exclusive she was exclusive with two guys at the time and I still

08:20have some of that resentment and I feel sometimes that I'm the second choice whether it be from the

08:24previous marriage or in that situation he's not second choice in my mind but I think he has trouble

08:29believing it in his heart I'm working through it working through okay I can buy that yeah good start

08:41love story how'd you find one another we had a mutual friend at church who said you know Shantae's

08:48looking for some financial advice so I was like great that's my job and somehow she ended up in my

09:02criminal you're a closer yeah he was just so easy to talk to just laughing joking so he made it

09:11so what's the problem I'm a little bit of a flirt oh maybe a lot of it of a flirt

09:20just at the point now where I want to show her that I can stop being so flirtatious I think

09:25ready to take a relationship serious and that's why we're here to test that at the beginning were

09:30you not taking the relationship so seriously yeah so there was a time in the beginning of our

09:34relationship where I chose another woman over her and then you broke up this mm-hmm and then I realized

09:42the grass isn't greener on the other side Shantae were you thinking you may have met the one

09:47yeah my next relationship I knew I wanted to my person to be like my best friend I found that

09:54him and then when he kind of took that step I was like oh you guys were able to get

09:57past that

10:00um what are the issues today um so for me it's kind of the final test um showing her that

10:08stop being the little flirty flirty boy I've had multiple women in my life before I've had threesomes

10:17I've done it all um and I enjoy that side I've lived a very slow you roll a second multiple

10:33that and I think that at first was a struggle for him just because he is a really sexual person

11:00kind of like are you doing too much are you saying too much like I think you could tone it

11:06little and I think this will be a really big test to see how are you really gaining those friendships

11:10what line and boundary are you setting for yourself you can take your relationship and level up what does

11:15that look like to you Brianna moving in together saying hey Shantae I'm taking you serious I'm ready to

11:21build on this I'm ready to do this together how does that feel hearing that Shantae it was great yeah

11:26that feels great just knowing that he's like taking it seriously and I just think it'll be a really

11:31exciting moment to just really like take that step as you're sitting together I could see you got a

11:36little emotional yeah can you tell me what that's about what you're feeling I think it's more of an

11:40excitement like ooh like that really could happen so it's kind of like a shock and it's just that's a

11:46lot to

11:46take you know just so a big step to take especially in this experience just really putting that test

11:54forward is it's a little scary but I'm hopeful for what's to come this is an inexact process and

12:11about you we met at my job I bartended in downtown Nashville my best friend was friends with him

12:18at the time and his ex-wife now and they came in to visit me on a Saturday night first

12:30and Taylor started to date it took about four months after my separation before we started getting

12:37physical and I was still married legally at the time not a lot of grass grew between the two

12:59so once I got my master's I bought my house he decided to walk away from his job and live

13:06adventurous lifestyle at that time I was living in a high-rise apartment I had a sports car you know

13:12had a nice medical sales job but now I have had job opportunities where I have been able to make

13:17a lot of

13:18money with modeling and so I think it makes her a little bit uncomfortable that I'm getting these jobs

13:23these one-off jobs that are allowing me to push off you know real work I guess you could say

13:28longer but I feel like I'm finding myself in this new this new season and it's just not giving her

13:35the comfort she's looking for I don't feel safe anymore I don't feel secure anymore and he also has

13:41some infidelity in there as well who wants to fill me in on that one so about a month into

13:49us being

13:50exclusive and officially dating we were arguing quite a bit I was I would say a little bit more emotionally

13:57needy at the time just getting out of my life situation and someone approached me I've seen them

14:02before at the gym and we started to hit it off and you know I did end up falling into

14:08temptation and

14:09ended up kissing her how did it make you feel Taylor terrible I thought he was the one person in

14:15my life

14:16that would never do me wrong every single relationship I've had previously it has gone that way and I've seen

14:22that trait in them they're very flirtatious or you know I could just pick it up I bartended for seven

14:28years I can spot it out before it even happens so I felt like I would never ever have to

14:35experience

14:36that with him because that's how safe he made me feel and he made me feel like I'm never gonna

14:40find

14:41anybody that'll do right by me because I thought he was the one person what are you hoping happens here

14:48right after my separation I got a lot of advice from my family and friends to take some time for

14:55myself but also to date because they believed obviously that marriage was not right for me and

15:00that person wasn't right for me and we did get married young I was 18 and she was 19 at

15:06the time but

15:07I really didn't realize I had a lot of stuff in the harbor a lot of grieving that I didn't

15:12go through

15:13because I didn't have that grass you know that time for the grass to grow so I'm here to figure

15:19out a little bit of myself but also to get the privilege to date and I'm lucky to have this

15:24experience for her to loosen the reins and let me adventure a little bit realize the toll it's taking

15:30on her and you know do I need to stand up and say okay you know for the betterment of

15:35both of us do we

15:37need to walk away or keep fighting I think you've got a lot to work on then it's and you're

15:43on the

15:43right track and I appreciate you sharing it I always ask the question about rules I'm gonna
