00:04Last week I had the honor of speaking to all of you from Philadelphia,
00:08the birthplace of the foundational documents of our democracy.
00:13Tonight, in keeping with the latest guidance from the CDC
00:16to avoid gatherings of more than 10 people,
00:19I'm speaking to you from my home in Wilmington, Delaware.
00:22Americans in three states went to the polls today.
00:25I want to thank all the public officials and the poll workers
00:29who work closely with the public health authorities
00:32to assure safe opportunities for voting,
00:34to clean and disinfect voting booths,
00:37and to make sure the voters could cast their ballots
00:39while maintaining the distance from one another that was safe.
00:43You know, it's important for us to get through this crisis,
00:46protecting both the public health and our democracy.
00:49Today, it looks like once again, in Florida and Illinois,
00:53we're still awaiting to hear from Arizona.
00:55Our campaign has had a very good night.
00:58We've moved closer to securing the Democratic Party's nomination for president.
01:02Senator Sanders and I may disagree on tactics,
01:05but we share a common vision
01:07for the need to provide affordable health care for all Americans,
01:11reduce income and equity that has risen so drastically,
01:15to tackling the existential threat of our time, climate change.
