00:00We're here on the open arms boat. I just arrived here from Lampadusa and we brought as much water, as
00:09much food as we possibly can for everybody on the boat. I think there's about 140 people here, maybe 150,
00:17yes, from all over, with the crew also, from all over Africa, but the crew is from all over the
00:27world also, mostly from Europe.
00:30And everyone is doing okay now. They were on two boats in the middle of the ocean. One of the
00:35boats was turned back and taken by the Libyan Navy. We don't know what happened to them. Two boats that
00:41were rescued here, probably all hands on board would have been lost.
00:46So the people that you see here on this boat, they're only here because of the donations to Open Arms,
00:54for the work that Open Arms does.
00:57And the most important thing for these people here is to be able to get to a free port, be
01:04able to get off the boat, get on land, and start a new life taken care of and make a
01:09life for themselves.
