00:11The Bill on Sexual Rights and Family Values imposes prison terms of up to three years for people who engage

00:27Lawmakers had previously passed similar legislation unanimously in 2024, but former President Nana Akufo-Addo did not sign it before

00:38The revised version retains the core provisions of the original bill while introducing exemptions for legal, media and healthcare professionals.
