ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿದ್ಧರಾಮಯ್ಯ ರಾಜೀನಾಮೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್‌ಗೆ 2028ಕ್ಕೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಹೊಡೆತ ಬೀಳಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಶಾಸಕ ಬಸನಗೌಡ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಯತ್ನಾಳ್ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರನ್ನ ಯಾವುದೆ ಕಾರಣ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಇಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಕುರುಬ ಸಮಾಜ ಕೋಪಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಹಾಲುಮತ ಕುರುಬ ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಅನ್ಯಾಯ ಇದಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದರ ಎಫೆಕ್ಟ್ ಮುಂದಿನ ವಿಧಾನಸಭೆ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯ ವೇಳೆ ವಿರೋಧ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳಿಗೆ ಲಾಭ ಅಗಲಿದೆ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.


MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal has said that Siddaramaiah’s resignation from the Chief Minister’s post will deal a major setback to the Congress party in the 2028 elections.
He stated that Siddaramaiah was removed without any valid reason, which has angered the Kuruba community. Calling it an injustice to the Halumatha Kuruba community, Yatnal said the impact of this decision would benefit opposition parties in the next Assembly elections
