00:00I guess this wasn't a terrible surprise given just how much interest there has been in Anthropic
00:05relative to OpenAI over the last few months. What do we know? Yeah, I mean, we have been tracking
00:10this for a period of time where we've gone from a place in April where Anthropic was basically
00:14rebuffing investors who were knocking down the door and saying, let us fund this round to now
00:20it closing very quickly. I would say, you know, on the $1 trillion figure, it's $965 billion post
00:27money valuation. So it takes into account the $65 billion raised led by Altimeter, Dragoneer, Green
00:34Oaks, Sequoia Capital. But the list of participants is infinitely long and also includes previously
00:39committed capital from the hyperscalers. Amazon and Google have backed them. So I think you're right,
00:45though, to say that in the race against OpenAI, whether you say pre-money or you say post-money,
00:51you know, it makes Anthropic the most valuable AI startup in the world, depending on whether you call
00:55SpaceX AI, an AI startup, and it sets the scene for a heck of a three-horse race in the
01:02IPO market,
01:02doesn't it? SpaceX is an AI? That was a rocket company. I thought it was a telecom company with
01:06all those satellites. But who knows? It's an open question, Ed Ludlow. But talk to us a little bit
01:11more about OpenAI here, because my understanding is that at its most recent valuation, it was about
01:18$852 billion. That funding round was back in March. And we're expecting them to confidentially
01:24file that draft paperwork pretty soon. Yeah, $852 billion of value, but again, post-money. So it
01:32took into account the $122 billion that they raised in the round, which is eye-watering, right? You know,
01:40we had reported last week, many others did, that the confidential filing could come imminently. That
01:46was as of last Friday. It never happened. This week, it still hasn't happened. But basically, the
01:51timeline as we think it is, is SpaceX will do its IPO in the next two, three weeks. OpenAI was
01:57looking at
01:58September. Anthropic had been looking at October. But you know, the bankers are all working on these
02:03things across three names to an extent. And you have to wonder, like, how much the SpaceX IPO takes
02:09the oxygen out of the room for Anthropic and OpenAI. Did they read the S1 and, you know,
02:14think we better rewrite this thing?
