00:18we just ain't gonna never get a Euphoria Season 3 and then you gonna call it Andalé? Like you
00:23didn't do nothing but drag your feet all these years? Decades have gone by. Years have gone by.
00:28I've watched my godsons grow up into young men waiting on a Season 3 of Euphoria, okay? So for
00:35you to call it Andalé like you've been rushing to do something is just a little bit, I'm just a
00:41little confused, okay? I don't even remember what happened in Season 1 and 2, all right? Now if y'all
00:45did a rewatch, good job for you, okay? You get a gold star but you know what? I just said

00:52gonna go on blind and honestly, I don't know if you really needed to do a rewatch to get into

00:57was happening in Season 3. The only thing that you need to remember is that Ru ain't gonna never
01:03get her ish together. Cassie and Nate, that's a whole nother topic because I knew y'all were
01:09hunching but I didn't know that y'all was like actually like in love hunching so I'm just really
01:14confused about that one. But yeah, before I actually get into this week's episode, I just want to give
01:19like a little bit of ground rules, okay? Because lately you guys have been coming to the channel and
01:23y'all been wanting to tussle in the comment section. I just don't understand. So let me just
01:26do a disclaimer, all right? Just in case y'all forgot. I do recaps and reviews. I'm gonna recap
01:31the episode and I'm gonna add some commentary in between that. It's gonna be funny. I might go a
01:37little hard on some of the characters and that's okay because guess what? They're not real.

01:45especially when we get to our Testaments review, they're not real, okay? So I'm not attacking
01:50a real person. I'm not attacking the actor or actress that is playing that character. I'm just
01:55talking about these bad choices that everybody be making in Euphoria, all right? Because I know y'all

02:05Okay. Now, I want to start with Rue but actually I'm gonna hold off on Rue for a moment because

02:11need to talk about Cassie and Nate because I'm just actually very confused, flabbergasted. Okay,
02:18Cassie is, you know, Rue does his voiceover where, you know, she says that Cassie's living in a right
02:24wing suburban neighborhood. I'm just trying to understand why Cassie is dressed like a dog
02:31doing these woof woof song like videos and stuff. She's trying to become social media famous and I
02:38was just like, Cassie, I just really hoped and prayed that after all these years that you will
02:42find some self-worth but obviously you still have not found that sweetheart so I'm gonna put you back on
02:47the prayer list and if I find you, I'm gonna tell you to go to the altar because you, we
02:53might
02:53actually have to do an exorcism because there has to be some type of spirit in you that will make
02:58you
02:58want to marry Nate and do these dog videos like sweetheart. Whatever you're doing is not working.
03:04You look cute and all but you ain't got to do all of that baby girl but of course Nate

03:09cyber truck. That actually really tracks for him but what I'm confused about is did Nate have a
03:15redemption arc that I missed. He not a psychopath no more. He not like I was just a little confused.

03:26remembered Nate is still a bad person. I mean clearly he's a scammer now but I was just very
03:32confused. Even his reaction of walking in watching his fiancee do these doggy videos. The housekeeper
03:39like Wanda can't even do what she needs to do. Now when he did that snap like go downstairs I

03:43now that's the Nate that I know but the fact that he didn't like spaz out on Cassie like the

03:50I've been gone scamming all day scamming from sun up to sun down to try to help with this raggedy
03:57ugly looking house and I'm gonna get on that house later because I'm like what in the Elvis Presley is
04:02going on okay but I was just confused him walking in on her. She's trying to explain that she wants

04:08videos and he was like so you're a prostitute and I was like sweetheart we don't do that. Sex worker
04:12okay have some class okay have some decorum Nate all right but she's basically saying like you know

05:35have money right right I just didn't understand that so okay I just knew that Nate was gonna blow
05:43a gasket when he walked in on this but I guess he's okay I guess he he took over his

05:48he's in love with Cassie I was confused about that like I knew y'all was hunching but I didn't

05:53really think that he was like in love with her to be marrying her and then especially with her doing
05:58all of this foolishness and the fact that she's willing to tell the neighbor's wife like yeah I'm gonna
06:02do these pictures and stuff and then she's like sweetheart like girl who's gonna pay pay $50 for
06:07that and you think Nate's gonna marry you with all of that but I guess he is I'm just very
06:11perplexed
06:12by this I'm sorry like to me Nate is crazy right and I never believed that he was really in

06:19Cassie I know Cassie would do anything for any man that will show her an ounce of attention so I
06:24understand the Cassie part of this but now he's a scammer Cassie you could do so much better honey

07:14people for a living but that does not make me rich they're rich okay just because I'm in a room
07:20with with richness and money that doesn't mean that I have money and I just really I hope that they
07:25really drive that home about showcasing Maddie and Lexi who are both working in Hollywood

12:12sense to me from a character standpoint I just want to know did Jacob tell y'all that he wasn't
12:17going to do this unless you made him a good person if y'all had that conversation fine everybody
12:21is who doesn't want to play like a psychopath okay for multiple seasons but maybe if we could
12:26have saw how he became a better person got a voiceover like maybe he went to therapy maybe
12:31he found the lord okay maybe the whole stuff with his daddy just helped him realize he needs to be

12:36better person but I just don't feel like we got enough backstory or anything that happened at the
12:41end of season two that I don't remember will lead me to believe that Nate is all of a sudden

12:46person he's gonna let Cassie first of all that he's gonna love Cassie and marry Cassie but also
12:50too that they're he gonna let her be our OnlyFans that just that don't make sense to me that that
12:55don't make sense just like her said the ghetto and that didn't make sense to me either so I just

13:05all right so Rue she was telling the truth she was like y'all I bet you've been wondering what

13:18good I said yeah absolutely absolutely that tracks that that's that's actually what I would expect
13:24out of you Rue okay so she's somewhere in Chihuahua and she in Mexico okay I did like the ride
13:31like the
13:31wind needle drop so I guess she's trying to get over the wall and I'm like is that what the
13:37wall
13:37they're supposed to be building is that what they did because if all people had to do was just put
13:41the
13:41little things up to drive the car up and go down I want my money back okay you should have
13:47been doing
13:48it in the first place but just give us our money back for that because that don't make no sense
13:51that don't make absolutely no sense so she get the car up there and I was actually impressed and
13:56then it looked like okay so all you got to do is go down I just don't think I could
13:59do that I had
14:00anxiety the entire time watching this episode so she tries to like go down but it's not working
14:05then she almost fell back and then I just had to look away for a moment she gets out of
14:10the car okay
14:11so she gets her back she gets out of the car I thought that the car was gonna run over
14:14her foot
14:15at first because that's what really had me shook for the majority of this scene but she ends up
14:20getting away and then she crosses over into uh Texas I did like the score here now I know I'm
14:29in
14:29solidarity with Labyrinth but I did like the score I ain't gonna hold you I'm gonna tell you the truth
14:34okay
14:34but she gets there and then we see that she's like with this little family little house on the
14:40prairie family who's obviously like super right-wing as well just in a different way from Cassie and so
14:47basically she told them that she was like in college working on the article for the newspaper
14:52talking about how the border like all these illegals are coming into uh America with no I was just like
14:59girl I mean it makes sense she understood her audience of where she was staying I love that
15:04shot when she's at the uh breakfast table with them I just like how it looked like she was
15:09in this like almost like a Looney Tunes like play if it was like a live action Looney Tunes or
15:15something
15:15I really love that shot I thought it was super cute um but yeah so the milk did look like
15:23it was good I
15:23know the milk was busting my uh brother's dad owned a farm and I know that milk was busting Dahlia

15:30she put she put her big moo into that that glass of milk okay for so she ends up telling
15:35everyone
15:35bye the daughter uh takes her to the Greyhouse station I like this conversation that she has
15:41with her because you know the girl is like I wish I can like go see the world and then
15:45she was like no
15:45I would trade places with you in a heartbeat and we see that this has a lasting effect on her
15:51but it
15:51gets her thinking about religion like what would happen if she had something like religion to keep her
15:56grounded but also too if she had like you know a family I wonder if she thinks like if her

16:01never passed and she had this family unit you know would she be a different person I think that she
16:07believes that she would have and I do agree like even though this this young girl is living this
16:11sheltered life I think that she's also sheltered from the bad that the world can bring in and we've
16:17seen that as we saw who Rue was before drugs and how she is now um so I really did
16:23like that
16:23whole conversation now we get more insight as to why she was actually in Mexico in the first place
16:29because Lori came to collect her her coins so Rue was working at a smoke shack and then Lori pops

16:35was like oh hey girl you remember that you owe me money hoe and then she was like oh I
16:39sure did but
16:40girl I ain't got the 10k for you but I could probably get in she's like oh you don't owe

16:44I was like oh we uh we forgive and drug debt too with the student loans she was like no

16:5110k because you really owe me 43 million eight hundred and eighty seven thousand dollars and I
16:58said now Lori 20 percent interest rate over 46 months that really like that 10 grand really went
17:06to to 43 million eight hundred and eighty seven thousand dollars I would have just jumped right
17:13then and there because like how I'm gonna pay that back to you and then she was like well I
17:17can sell
17:17it for 100k I said now girl that's a good deal now she ain't got if she didn't have 10k

17:30not math and Lori you knew that girl didn't have that dang old money so this girl became a body

17:43fentanyl from Mexico back to the states for Lori so Lori had to move in with her cousin after Fez
17:49R.I.P. Angus uh got busted by the cops and we find out that they're actually keeping him alive

17:56storyline and I actually think that's like really dope I feel like it's like a piece of him that's
18:01still you know around I love I just I really like that they kept him alive like even in the
18:08storyline
18:09and he's just doing he's doing a bid for 30 years I mean so he in jail for the rest
18:13of his life
18:13basically but um we do find out that Lexi Lexi's not in contact with him but Rue is actually in
18:19contact with him so because of everything that happened at the end of season two Lori has to close
18:24her business where she was and she moved in with her cousin uh and they're basically running the drug
18:29business together and she was absolutely right they it's some inbreeding going on yeah yeah absolutely
18:36absolutely absolutely some inbreeding happening right there I'm just I'm not even going to hold
18:40you okay um so yeah so we see that she goes over there and she has these like bags of
18:49drugs that she
18:50has to swallow now I didn't know like you can ingest KY jelly I was just like y'all is
18:56that safe
18:57it wasn't that else she can take so she had to put it in the water I mean it was
19:01very informative you
19:01got to put it in the water to make sure that the bag is uh sealed because you know if
19:06it explodes
19:07and you if it gets into your bloodstream like you did like the girl that passed and they just took
19:11the drugs out of her I was like dang you at least send the body back to the family something
19:16so she's
19:17doing all of this that whole sequence and then she got Faye involved in this craziness the whole
19:21sequence of them trying to like stuff this stuff down their throat and them gagging and then all the
19:25spit and stuff I was just like yuck okay I was like I get I get it I don't know
19:32if I necessarily
19:33needed the visual but then we saw all them bags and that girl body I was just like how you
19:37even
19:38got space to fit all of that in there okay that was that was a lot so they go to
19:42the border and
19:43then what dude's like hey like did you have a good time and Faye was like no like do it
19:48look like I had
19:49a good time so Rue and Faye are living with Lori I mean they got a whole little operation the
19:56house
19:56looked little but obviously everybody got a place to sleep they rented a whole drug lab in the barn
20:02underneath the barn so I guess they they got a whole thing going okay now here's the part that
20:07really disrupted my spirit all right and it is back to the spaghetti but in a different way okay
20:14so they was carrying Rue in okay because you got to poop the bags out so they said go get
20:20the
20:20strainer red flag one they picked up the strainer out of the dishwasher they picked up the strainer
20:28out of the dishwasher so that means that strainer that you took so Rue can go poop in the strainer
20:34to strain the poop away from the bags y'all be washing that in the dishwasher with the regular dishes
20:45yeah with the regular dishes so it's feces feces in the dishwasher with the dishes the plates the
20:54forks the spoons the cups and then to make matters even worse they was making spaghetti and they took the
21:05strainer that Rue pumped in and they took it and they put the pasta in the strainer
21:12and I don't care if you washed it out I don't care because it shouldn't have been in the
21:19dishwasher with the rest of the dishes that's like people who wash underwear with their regular clothes
21:27or they washcloths and if you and if you wash your underwear with your washcloths and stuff don't
21:35admit that in the comment section because I'm gonna let you know right now I'm gonna judge you because
21:39that's nasty it's nasty so the fact that y'all was eating a spaghetti and Rue up here smelling the
21:46dressing
21:47hoe you need to be looking why are you eating feces spaghetti that just didn't make no sense
21:58I mean they're just nasty just nasty nasty okay I'm sorry I'm already triggered by their spaghetti in
22:10general okay and then you telling me you doing the spaghetti where Rue be where she be shitting it
22:16don't make no sense okay oh all right so Rue be driving Uber too on the side I don't know

22:23money she's trying to make with the Uber but I'm like girl I mean I guess she doing Uber XL

22:29be making some she had a little minivan and stuff so she could be making some some decent money you
22:33know maybe I don't know so we do see that when she Lexi does let her go to her house
22:40and she's like
22:41telling her to tea like how Jules told Maddie that she a sugar baby and um you know this is

22:49got like all the backstory her talking to uh Lexi about like hey you should call Fez and then she
22:54was
22:54like she was telling her how she met this Christian family and how it kind of changed her she was
22:59just
22:59like no you can't do that I don't want to be around Christians and she's like what's wrong with
23:03Christians she's like they're judgmental but I said but Lexi you judgmental so do it matter I don't
23:08think like that like that just that didn't make sense to me Lexi because you're just a judgmental
23:14as a Christian so you know I was like whatever all right so she's having a conversation with Ali
23:19it was nice to see Coleman she's having a conversation with Ali and then they talking about
23:23somehow she tells him about this experience and how she wants to like read the Bible and she says
23:28she gonna take everything as fact and I said no Rue girl you smuggling drugs from Mexico
23:35you eating spaghetti out of the same pasta strainer that you poop in and you're also on drugs so
23:43how you gonna take stuff literal boo you gonna be in for a rude awakening okay because from the moment
23:49that I got saved whoo baby when you realize all the sinning you be doing I just I just had
23:54to be like
23:55lord it's just some stuff that I'm just gonna have to stand about until I get married okay
24:01just a couple of things I'm gonna have to send about but it's a little bit different when you
24:06open your eyes and you start reading the Bible all right so Ali so then she's like well how is

24:11gonna work because I'm gay and he was like okay and and she was like well they don't like the

26:09of drugs to Alamo okay and so I actually really like seeing like Rue with black people because I just
26:18felt like she wasn't like she'd be around her family black right and I leave black but just
26:21like regular black people I just really like that interaction for the rest of this episode
26:25so um we see that Bishop is standing real creepy in the garage she acts like hey can I go
26:34use the
26:34bathroom she walked past Marshawn Lynch character I don't know why he had them floaties you got
26:39you this big man with these muscles and stuff and you got the floaties on in the pool I was
26:43just really
26:43confused about that I did like seeing Asante uh black in there as well even though he dealing
26:48drugs too but I was like you know it's just nice to see see him and stuff um but yeah
26:53so we see that
26:56while she delivers all of this she gets caught up on the women Tish asks her like hey can you
27:01help me
27:02with this and then she's like yeah you got your titties out yeah girl I'm gonna come help you
27:05so she helps her get it together then she's supposed to be going to the bathroom Bishop looking for him
27:10and then he looking like girl how you sit up here you're supposed to be making a package and go
27:17to
27:17the bathroom and you sit up here partying with all the women having a good old time and so then
27:21Alamo is like hey how you gonna come up in my house dancing with my host and you're not gonna
27:26say
27:26hi like that's a real disrespectful okay and so she's like oh my bad like you know what I think
27:32that
27:32God brought us together and I said now Ru I don't I don't I don't think the Lord was bringing
27:40y'all
27:40together boo I I know I I know what you saying but I don't I don't think this what the
27:46Lord I I don't
27:47think this is a sign that the Lord was trying to send you okay girl like my man said that
27:51he's he's
27:52running the the hottest commodity on town uh the kitty cat and he said he the king of the kitty

27:58and he owns all these strip clubs and then I was just I was confused at first because I'm just

28:03you saying that the Lord brought you together like this it was just really confusing for me
28:07but when he said now when Ru said that this is my dream job he's like oh you want to

28:13and I was like Alamo no she she's not trying to be a hoe she she's just trying to like

28:19she trying to run the hoes like you and make some money you know get a slice of heaven is

28:24now Laura I'm just telling you what Ru said I ain't saying that okay just want to make sure
28:30all right so now here's another part okay so when he was like oh you a gay one and I
28:36I did die laughing
28:37because it made me think of that uh video me when they be like why is you gay or like
28:41I just I don't
28:42know it's just how he said it it just sent me to the the upper room but when he said

28:48run them bees like a n-word now this was another part of the episode I said Sam Sam Sam

29:17me so Ru asked
29:18him for a job and then but in the midst of all of this Tish ends up overdosing on the
29:23pills they
29:24relates with fentanyl after Asante's character uh tested the drugs he wasn't too happy about that
29:29and then she that's when she said like I didn't really think that God brought us together like I
29:34didn't know they just gave me the bag I delivered it I ain't got nothing to do with this foolish
29:37foolishness and then he was like well if you believe in God let's see if he believe in you
29:42and so he takes her outside he puts the apple on her head he pulls the trigger and she survives
29:47so I
29:47was like okay maybe maybe the lord was looking out I still don't know if he wanted you to pair
29:52with somebody to say he the king of the peas but okay fine so I guess for right now the
29:57man above
29:58believes in her and that was the end of the episode overall I mean the episode was interesting I
30:04really only care about Ru's storyline to be quite honest with you um we didn't get enough Alexi and
30:11Maddie for me to like really get invested in it and we really didn't get we didn't get anything
30:15with Jules um I'm still very deeply troubled by the whole Nate being a good person thing yeah he's
30:22a scammer but like I just I need can someone let me know that I missed something of the redemption
30:27arc for Nate because that just doesn't make sense to me and also too I'm not gonna hold y'all
30:31I'm so tired of Sydney Sweeney just being objectified for her body I just like after
30:41Euphoria I understand that y'all had to fulfill y'all contracts but after this I I don't want I
30:47don't want to see you be sexualized unless it just really makes sense for whatever you're in
30:52but honestly I just don't want to see her be it's it's just like it was too much it's just
30:58too much
30:58for me because I know this only the first episode so I'm sure it's gonna get worse and it's just
31:02I
31:03I'm kind of tired of that but I do like Ru being around some other black people now I didn't
31:08want
31:08her to be selling drugs and running hoes and stuff for the other black people but it is nice just
31:14to
31:14see her around more blackness so like give me more of that maybe less of the running the hoes
31:20but you know whatever you gotta do girl I understand people gotta be able to pay and
31:24contracts to fulfill but overall for me the episode's fine it's fine I'm more interested
31:31just to see what trouble Ru's gonna get herself into and what everybody else has been up to
31:34but I just hope that the majority of this season isn't gonna be us looking at Ru and looking at
31:41Cassie because Cassie really be erking my everlasting nerves and the few nerves that I have left I really
31:46don't want to spend them with her getting on them so I hope that we get to see more of
31:51the other
31:51characters in the next episode but yeah overall this episode was fine it was fine beautiful gals
31:57great set design great great production design I like the needle drops um the little temptations at
32:02the end but yeah like overall it was fine it's fine it's fine I'm here for Ru's storyline though okay
