00:18para hablar de un show regular, The Love Staves.
00:51Para empezar.
01:07Entonces, empezamos a tener reuniones juntos,
01:31¡Gracias!
01:45We...
01:46So...
01:46We're not really, like...
01:48Tried...
01:49Well, we want people to see the first episode when it comes back
01:52because it explains everything.
01:55Like, you get to understand, like, what does the Lost Tapes mean?
01:58How are we bringing it back?
01:59Like, which characters are coming back?
02:01Is it the same or is it different?
02:03And so, that episode is, like, super important.
02:06I can't wait for people to see it.
02:07It's, like, a half-hour special.
02:08It's going to be really good.
02:10But, yeah, like, the spoiler thing, I'm so careful about it
02:14because I'm like, you only get to watch it for the first time once.
02:16And it's really fun, for me at least, like, when I haven't even seen the trailer for a film.
02:20I'm just going in cold.
02:21Like, I don't even know what this is about.
02:23Sometimes it's really fun to see things without any preconceived notions.
02:26No puede ser!
02:34Just to finish your draw, guys, this is the last one.
02:38In Mexico, I don't know if you know this, but much of regular show's success
02:42is thanks, you know, to the Latin America dubbing by Arturo Cataño and Moisés Iván Mora.
02:49Are you familiar with their work? Have you heard it?
02:54Yeah, I think we've heard a little bit of the dubbing, yeah,
02:56and it was important to us to, like, get the original voices back,
03:00so that's what we definitely told the studio to, like,
03:03because we're all coming back, all the original crew and voices and stuff,
03:06and so we're like, oh, yeah, it's got to get the original people who did the dubbing back,
03:11because it's important to the show.
03:12Do you like their work?
03:14Yeah, I mean, it's amazing to see how well the show translates
03:18and, like, and, you know, what they bring to the characters, yeah.
03:23Nice one. So, the time is over. Please show your draw.
03:29Oh, my God. I had to talk more.
03:34I want a nice one. Nice. Oh, guy is amazing. Nice, nice.
03:45So, let's go to the second part of the interview, all right?
03:48This is some questions by the fans of Regular Show.
03:52Oh, cool. Okay?
03:53This is from Kermit CB.
03:56When did you release that Regular Show wasn't just a comedy anymore,
04:00but rather something that defined it an entire generation?
04:04Uh, I mean, after the show was over, it started streaming,
04:10and a lot of people started finding it, and, you know, I got an animation
04:15because I enjoy telling stories through art,
04:18but not necessarily getting up in front of people and talking to them.
04:21And so, animation was the perfect medium for me,
04:25and I thought it also was, like, very private,
04:27but, like, I remember, like, after the pandemic, like, people recognizing me
04:32and being like, dude, are you Mordecai?
04:33And I'd be like, what? What are you doing?
04:36And to have people come up to you, strangers on the street,
04:38and just say how much the show has touched them,
04:41or how much they watched it with their family,
04:43or, you know, however they watched it with their friends.
04:46Like, these moments just keep happening where I'll just run into people
04:49and they'll say what it meant to them, and, you know, you can't predict it.
04:53You don't know that it's going to happen in the moment.
04:54You're just having fun trying to make something, you know,
04:58for the crew, like, together.
05:00Like, it's just fun to make it, but to see how it's affected everybody
05:03has been really cool.
05:04This is a hard one, but also it's connected with this.
05:09This is from Dorani Tenorio.
05:11In regular show, everything seems like chaos and comedy,
05:15but if you strip away the absurdity,
05:22Do you think that, deep down, the show is really about the fear of growing up?
05:27And if that's the case, do you think you made people laugh at that,
05:32or did they really it without even releasing?
05:34Do you think?
05:36Oh, yeah, I think it is about a certain time period in your life.
05:40I mean, the characters are in their early 20s, you know,
05:44where you're experiencing, you know, being at a job you don't really, really like,
05:49and hopefully that's relatable to some people.
05:52Or even if kids, you know, are watching it, they can think,
05:55oh, is that what it's going to be adult is going to be like?
05:58Like, trying to figure out your life, you know?
06:02And, you know, we had some, you know, storylines of showing just the characters grow
06:07and dealing with becoming either more responsible
06:10or whether Rigby finally getting a driver's license or something, you know?
06:14Graduating.
06:15Graduating and things like that.
06:16And, yeah, and like, yeah, I think it was important to us, like, revisit that time in our life.
06:23I mean, we were in our 20s when we were making the show, too.
06:27But even now, like, looking back, kind of we, you know, look back,
06:33can still experience ourselves in that time, you know, what made us laugh
06:37and what, you know, and while bringing, like, new insight into, like, into growing up.
06:43Yeah.
06:43Great, great. This is from Bernardo Serafine.
06:47How did you manage to get Tyler, the creator, and Chilish Gambino,
06:51to make Cameo's appearance in the episode Wrap It Up?
06:55Well, Sean wrote that song.
07:08He wrote that song, so, and you picked them.
07:12Yeah, I think we're just a fan of their music, you know, and we're like, well, let me just try
07:18to reach out to them.
07:19It should be these guys, you know, and they're very excited.
07:22I know they both love animation and, like, were, like, so down at the time to, like, be a part
07:28of the show and come in and so gracious to, you know, write these or sing these raps that I
07:34wrote.
07:35So it's kind of cool to be like, oh, I wrote raps for Challenge Campion and Tyler Creator, you know.
07:41So, yeah.
07:42I still remember that record because the raps are complicated, but they just came in and listened and they're like,
07:48okay.
07:48And they just did it.
07:49And it's like, how is that possible?
07:52Nice.
07:52And just to finish, guys, this is from Andrés Tutibén.
07:56Which character do you think should have more screen time and what kind of story do you want to tell
08:02in a particular episode but coolant?
08:05Also, he said thank you for creating the best series ever.
08:09Awesome.
08:11Well, from the Lost Tapes, people can expect to see more screen time for characters that didn't get as much
08:17screen time in the original run because, you know, we've come back to the show after, like, eight years and
08:23we've all grown and, like, had a lot of experiences that now we have all these new ideas that we
08:27never would have come up with.
08:29And we're using a lot of the characters to see more about them, which is, like, really exciting.
08:35Great, guys. So, thank you so much. I wish you all the luck with the Lost Episodes and enjoy your
08:41time here in Mexico. See you.
08:42Oh, thank you.
08:43Thank you so much.
