00:22The sessions now bring together around 20 people every Tuesday
00:25for conversation, crafts and support over free drinks.
00:30Organisers say the project has helped residents struggling with bereavement, isolation and confidence.
00:36Following its success, Gateshead Council and community partners
00:39are now preparing to launch a similar scheme elsewhere in the borough.
