00:00I'm putting the finishing touches on an illustration here on my iPad.
00:05It's the last piece I need to finish a presentation that I have open on my MacBook.
00:09Now, I'll just set my iPad down next to my Mac.
00:13And check this out.
00:15Without any other setup, I'm going to simply move my Mac cursor towards my iPad,
00:20and the iPad automatically recognizes it.
00:23And if I move a bit further, boom, my cursor is now on the iPad.
00:28How cool is that?
00:30And now I can move my cursor back and forth effortlessly between the two.
00:36Now it's easy to control my iPad with just the keyboard and trackpad on my Mac.
00:41For instance, I can click and close this document
00:44and flick on my trackpad to return to my iPad home screen.
00:48Of course, I can swipe between my pages of apps,
00:51and I can use my MacBook's keyboard to open Spotlight and say,
00:55launch notes and even use Command-Tab to switch back to Procreate.
01:01This is really powerful.
01:03With Universal Control, I can even drag and drop files between my devices.
01:08I'm just going to take this drawing I finished on my iPad and drop it on the Keynote on my
01:14Mac.
01:15Awesome.
01:17For our pros out there, Universal Control works with more than two devices.
01:21So let's add this iMac into the mix.
01:25Now I can use the trackpad on my MacBook to control my iMac as well.
01:31I can also switch to use my iMac's keyboard and mouse.
01:35And this is so cool.
01:37Watch this.
01:38Now I have a title text image I've been working on here and Procreate on my iPad.
01:42Now I'm going to take this image and drag it across all three devices
01:48and drop it in to Final Cut.
01:52Just like that.
01:55Let's see the final product.
01:56Nice.
