Producer Rajan Shahi opens up about his new digital venture and proudly introduces his daughter Ishika Shahi as the Creative Head of their digital platform. Ishika reveals how she has already produced 3-4 digital shows for their production house and shares her experience of handling projects at a young age.
Rajan Shahi also reveals that Ishika is extremely strict when it comes to cost budgeting and managing productions. Ishika shares how her first two digital series received appreciation and how actress Urvashi Dholakia praised her work. She also reveals that many actors are now interested in working with her.
During the conversation, Rajan Shahi talks about the growing trend of vertical drama shows and whether he plans to enter that space. He says that currently their main focus remains on digital series and strong storytelling.
Rajan Shahi further discusses the pressure of TRPs in television and also clears the rumours about Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, confirming that there will be no leap in the show as of now.
He also recalls how Ekta Kapoor appreciated Anupamaa and said the show brought fresh storytelling to television and helped stabilize the TRP charts during the Covid phase.
