00:00If you grew up obsessing over J.Lo's makeup look from Made in Manhattan, this is exactly how to recreate
00:04it.
00:05I got my makeup done by the legendary Scott Barnes, J.Lo's longtime makeup artist who originally created the look
00:10for the film.
00:10Before even touching the face, Scott starts with his signature body bling all over the body.
00:14Simply airbrushing in a bottle, instant tan, instant glow, and once it dries down, it's pretty much transfer-proof.
00:20Next, he started his signature Snatchel underpainting technique, adding highlight to the center of the face
00:24and contour under the cheekbones, along the jawline, under the chin, and around the forehead.
00:29Then he takes a large stippling brush and gently buffs foundation over the contour and highlight, blending everything upward.
00:34He then goes back in with concealer under the eyes and adds whatever's left on the brush to the lids.
00:38For blush, Scott mixed two shades from his Chic Cheek Palette, Mango Fizz, which is a gorgeous tangerine,
00:43and Rosé, a bright pink, to create J.Lo's signature peachy blush.
00:46He then set only the T-Zone with Makeup Forever's translucent powder, leaving the cheeks super glowy.
00:51For lips, Scott lined my lips with the Makeup Forever Pencil in Up and Down Tan,
00:54slightly overlining the Cupid's bow and feathering it up and out with his finger.
00:58Then he added a nudie pink liquid lip as the base, so J.Lo coated, and topped it with the
01:02prettiest gloss called Princess Peach
01:03to get the exact Made in Manhattan effect.
01:06Scott finished with powder highlight on the high points of the cheekbones, inner corners, and brow bone.
01:10For eyes, he buffed a bronzy peach shade all over my lid, added mascara to the upper and lower lashes,
01:14and finished with the most dramatic false mink lashes.
01:17They were so gorgeous.
01:18The craziest part is that this entire look took under 40 minutes.
01:21I am fully in my early 2000s rom-com era.
