00:15:14penta met saturday night and ethan page well luckily for penta penta's skill set lies somewhere

00:18:57champion and now we get underway with penta and javon evans cory javon evans has never won a
00:19:02singles championship here in wwe it's still young in his career he's got plenty of time to get there
00:19:08but he's got to be putting some pressure on himself no doubt about it but what we've seen
00:19:11recently from javon evans is the fact that his youthful indiscretion is arguably his best tool
00:19:16much like penta competes with zero fear so does javon evans case in point looking for the og
00:19:22cutter off the opening bell yeah but a great counter by penta that time and now javon evans
00:19:27sends penta into the corner javon has got to be respectful of the fact that penta does have the
00:19:32experience advantage in this matchup and look at javon though landing on his feet off the hurricane rana
00:19:37much to the surprise of penta penta may be slightly unfamiliar with competing against superstars with
00:19:45similar skill sets to his own that being javon evans a great high flyer well to your point this is
00:19:50the first time these two have ever gone one-on-one in their career of course they were part of

00:20:02changing a series of leg sweeps and a standoff in the early moments of this matchup that has banger
00:20:08written all over it so if you're penta how do you keep the intercontinental title tonight

00:21:02up in the morning for competition the man lives for the fight oh night after night no matter who the

00:21:18again you have to wonder what pent is a mental state and physical state is after having to defend the
00:21:25title and a great matchup this past saturday i'm sure mentally penta's on top of the world after
00:21:30getting past ethan page this past saturday unfortunately that could be detrimental to
00:21:34the champion because penta needs to remain focused on the task at hand that being javon evans been a
00:21:39great fighting champion looking for the penta driver perhaps arm drag takedown by evans and boom who is
00:21:46out quicking penta in the early going of this matchup an unfamiliar territory for the champion used to
00:21:53having the speed advantage on his side such is not the case tonight evans gonna take to the skies
00:21:58yet again give on with a suicide oh my goodness oh he ain't getting up penta just drove evans spine
00:22:06first
00:22:07into the into the into the corner of the announce table announce table evans may have a broken back
00:22:27you know our official eddie arango's got to come out here and check on javon evans penta just hurled
00:22:32him into the side of our announce table spine first and you can see evans buckle that's one way to

00:23:01smart move by the champion breaking the count penta wants to be an honorable fighting champion doesn't
00:23:05want to take a victory by count out or disqualification if he can at all help it
00:23:12and now penta launched into the timekeepers area and evans caught him with the right hand and i want
00:23:17to see more of that out of javon evans plant your feet throw your hands he might as well knock

00:23:23penta if he wants to win tonight whatever gives you the best chance to leave columbus with the
00:23:29intercontinental gold you can see the focus in the eyes of the young og who's picking up speed

00:24:29matchup and he has a great deal of respect for the intercontinental championship and what it means to
00:24:35all these competitors no one wants to win it in any other fashion than convincing well and they just
00:24:40beat the cow evans has got a pin or submit penta tonight champions advantage in this matchup
00:24:48again to that point while champions advantage is in effect each and every time penta defends his gold
00:24:53penta wants to win with honor he wants to win decisively
00:24:58evans wants to win any way he can and that's got to be the mentality of the young og tonight

00:25:49half count penta was reeling from him and cory one of the things we talked about a few moments ago
00:25:53is that trademark smile no longer on the face of javon evans a look of intensity tonight as he tries

00:25:59his first championship in wwe reality has kicked in for the young og and now a little battle of

00:26:49horseshoes and hand grenades flying blind og cutter takes down penta unfortunately for evans he wasn't
00:26:57able to get all of his weight across the shoulders of the champion that could have made all the
00:27:01difference and evans now has to stay focused can't get frustrated penta learned so much about this man
00:27:07over the past year and a half resilience and heart of the champion and look at this now evans in
00:27:12trouble
00:27:13penta oh backstabber cover now by penta to retain the championship hooks the leg and a kick out by evans
00:27:21at two penta showing that he's got such an incredibly high in-ring iq javon evans used a very similar
00:27:28maneuver a few minutes ago in this matchup penta recognized it realized it encountered it in the
00:27:34blink of an eye now penta calling for the mexican destroyer the move that knocked off ethan page
00:27:38saturday night but he runs into a kick to the face by evans

00:30:48from the opening bell the firework started and did not end until the finale what an effort by both
00:30:56superstars leaving it all in the squared circle but in the end penta had the og cutter scouted
00:31:05and delivered a mexican destroyer a hell of a fight for the young og and still
00:31:15what a champion penta has become

00:32:18penta has turned into quite the fighting champion that was an absolutely incredible way to kick off
