Grappling with a genetic hearing loss disorder, a young filmmaker seeks answers for how to cope with her inevitable deafness. To connect with her hearing-impaired family, she embarks on a road trip across the country with her grandma, mother, and sister in search of her great-grandmother’s memorial. 00:14my entire life and and they've all gone through it and yet we've literally never fucking talked
00:19about it like i just need to talk about it you know how do you even cope with something like

00:30i don't even know if my grandma knows what my voice sounds like one day my mom won't be able
00:36to hear me and my sister talk she won't be able to hear her stupid jokes or laughs and
00:46like one day that's going to happen to me too
00:51i've gone on so many trips with them but i i feel like we need this one
