Taiwan stocks have hit fresh highs, with the Taiex surging more than 3% to close above 43,600 points. Tech shares including TSMC, MediaTek and ASE Technology gained strongly. The rally comes as Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and AMD CEO Lisa Su visit Taiwan ahead of COMPUTEX 2026.
