00:13My parents, who grew up from nothing, from extremely humble beginnings in the most rural parts of Galantan.
00:21My mother, Dr. Nick Hasimah, bt. Nick Yahya, raised four children while completing her studies at Oxford
00:29and became one of Malaysia's first renal histopathologists.
00:36And my father, Cik Arifin bin Cik Mahmud, the son of a lorry driver who grew up in extreme poverty
00:46and still broke the cycle of poverty in his family by being the first person from Kotlanas to graduate from
00:52university.
00:59So if they can do it, what's my excuse?

01:06Mana Umi dan Ayah tahu yang mempunyai kelepasan hari ini
01:10hasil daripada kasih sayang dan didikan yang Umi dan Ayah dah bagi ke Man
01:15dari Man lahir sampai lah hari ini.
01:24Umi dan Ayah dah berkorban terlalu banyak untuk Man sia-sia ke hidup, kan?
01:29Tapi Alhamdulillah, hari ini Man nak setiap orang dalam Dewan ni tahu
01:33yang pengorbanan, jasa, doa, tenaga, masa dan usaha
01:38Ayah dan Umi tak sia-sia.
01:44And segala benda yang Man dah capai selama ni adalah untuk Pak Umi dan Ayah bangga dengan Iman.
